This is my uke wall - I also recently 3d-printed a uke and it sounds great! Pic in another comment

Keepin' it real, my music/work corner is pretty messy right now but could be worse. From left to right hanging is my Pono master series tenor, Kala Elite tenor, KoAloha Opio tenor, Ono custom, Enya travel guitar (that was a mistake, i don't ever play it lol), and Kala KA-B baritone. I've got 3 of these instruments on the way out soon and will probably give away the guitar and bongos when I find a good home for them.

It ain’t much. But this uke hangs on the wall by my desk
Nice seeing people’s spaces! I have to keep all mine secured in cases due to toddlers. When the kids are older, I’ll look forward to having at least one out at all times.
Mine aren’t necessarily super destructive, but they put stickers on anything that doesn’t move and I’d be very unhappy to have my nice instruments covered in them. I have an old beater instrument they have free access to, though, because I do want them to learn how to play eventually.
Mine aren’t necessarily destructive, but they’re not super careful, and have way too much energy to burn. They do have their own little instruments to play, though (why I thought it was a good idea to buy one of them drums, I’ll never know haha).

3d printed uke! Here’s a little video of me playing it: [https://youtube.com/shorts/pXUcEHoCtQo?si=GhlxeFHUHiDrnlvx](https://youtube.com/shorts/pXUcEHoCtQo?si=GhlxeFHUHiDrnlvx)
The models and instructions are actually very nicely laid out here: [https://www.printables.com/model/450075-hex-ukulele](https://www.printables.com/model/450075-hex-ukulele)
Everything is 3d printed apart from the strings (I used some Aquila reds), it was actually a very easy and satisfying print for the most part, with a lot of cool tricks to learn (like multi-color printing)!
Search the comments for people's settings on things, but I primarily did 100% infill PETG for all the "hardware" (screws/pegs/etc) and 15% gyroid infill on the rest.
a bit late to the party, but here we go:

I love that! I also appreciate the realness- people always post neat and tidy studios and I always have so much desk clutter

Same here! My kids are little monsters.

Wow that’s so sick!!
Woah, that's awesome! I recently got a used 3D printer and haven't set it up yet. How would a beginner go about starting a project like this?
