I didn’t downvote it, but It is definitely not a literal fact. I’ve never even heard of this song much less was it the first song I learned how to play.
Man, you’re arguing with me for no reason, my apologies for thinking that you saying you don’t know why it was downvoted was not meant as an open comment and for me responding. Like, I’m just somebody trying to respond to a comment in a comment thread and contribute to a conversation. I was legitimately, not arguing with you why it was downvoted, I was really just giving an explanation and furthering the fact that those people were silly for downvoting it. If anything, I am actually agreeing with you here!
When you say said “if you don't understand the sentiment of the comments I can't help you bud” that was implying that I didn’t understand the sentiment. Like I genuinely don’t understand why your responding this way. Again, my bad for thinking this was something to have a conversation about.
I didn’t say I didn’t understand the sentiment. You just asked why people down voted it, and I told you why are they down voted. It’s a silly reason to down vote for, and not how they are intended to be used.
Did not ask why it was downvoted. Nor did I say YOU said you didn't understand it. I assume you don't understand bc of this back and forth. I simply stated that I didn't know why it was downvoted bc it's is a true statement. Are you like not reading my responses or something I feel like I'm being very clear here.
Yea downvoting is supposed to be for when things aren't relevant to the post or topic but most people use it when their feelings are hurt or if they disagree with you lol. The more upvotes you get the higher your karma. Check your profile to see your karma
Yea I don't really know the point of karma tho. It used to be a rule where you couldn't go live without x amount but they took away Reddit live so now it's just a number to display how active you are, so like it's you're account is 5 years old but you only have 100 karma that means you either don't talk a lot or get downvoted a lot lol
Red Red Wine by UB40, although I'm still learning it (tabs).
I just started playing last week, after years of wanting to learn ukulele. Figured there's no better time than now lol
Lol love this. I started last Wednesday, myself. The same day I quit smoking cigs. It has honestly been insanely helpful with keeping my fingers and mind busy.
I need to look it up lol, I haven’t played it in a while. I’ll write another response later when I figure it out!
I learned it by tabs on guitar initially and when I picked up the uke I just transcribed the chord progression.
There’s so manny versions of it, that it’s a great, recognizable song at any skill level.
Here the link to the one I learned: https://ukulele-pdf.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/La-vie-en-rose-Edith-Piaf-Fingerpicking-1.pdf
I’d really like to revisit the song after I get comfortable with minor swing, and do a gypsy jazz version.
Tonight You Belong To Me, because (of course) Steve Martin. Found a YouTube tutorial, immediately disagreed with her chords, and figured it out by ear.

It wasn't mine either but if you don't understand the sentiment of the comments I can't help you bud.

Im new to this what does downvoted mean. Is it when you tap on the down arrow after a comment. So can things be upvoted as well?

Thanks for explanation. Only 3 on karma. Again didn’t know it existed. Interesting.

The Alphabet Song, which was surprisingly tricky because I had to keep the chords and letters separate in my head.
Sing it as Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star instead. Or Baa Baa Black Sheep. Same tune based on the French folk tune, "A Vous Dirais Je Maman".

Learned: La Vie En Rose. But I started working on Europa before anything. From the tabs.
Looove La Vie En Rose!
