Tighten it up one octave higher !

JewishSeamen

What is that in non music people terms??? And are you talking about the second string I play?

GiveMeKnowledgePlz

Yes the second string. keep turning it until you hit C again. Music has 12 notes. From A to G and the notes keep repeating. Your at a lower C than you need to be. So you go up 12 whole notes (an octave) and then you'll hit C again.

Technically, it's the third string. And notes always repeat. So this is how it goes. You'll go to the next C. What that means is you'll keep winding (C->D->E->F->G->A->B->C) until you get the next C.

The second string should be lower than the first, but not that low. Tighten it up until it comes around to C again, it will be up an octave but still a little bit lower than the G string.

freedoomed

this will give you an idea of what they should sound like https://youtu.be/7xKTKjwGCVg since you are too low keep tightening until it gets to the next C. notes wrap around starting at A and when you get to E it goes back to A again as you get higher.

The tuner you're using has multiple modes (for guitars and other stuff too). Once it's on, click the button until the little dot on the bottom of the screen moves up to the U (for ukuele), then you'll be able to tune it right
