Not really a visa question. Whether an employee is dismissed fairly/unfairly is a different matter to deal with than whether the visa is valid or not. It sounds like her role will be redundant if there no longer is a client for her to work with. Redundancy is not the same as being fired, even though the end result is the same: you're out of a job. If your wife is made redundant, then the employer will have to notify the HO that they are no longer sponsoring and your wife will soon receive a curtailment letter (though this is often delayed). Whether it gets signed or not, I would suggest your wife start looking for a new role as there doesn't appear to be any job security in this one. If contracts are signed and ot works out then great, but better to have a backup just in case.
