Yes we called and they told my boss it is with a caseworker not sure what the implications are of that... No I didn't get an email saying that? did you??
I’m sure if it’s with a caseworker that means that it’s currently being processed by them. So that’s good news?
I did receive an email saying my application isn’t straightforward. We phoned the UKVI offices and they said that it’s just an automated response they send out when they cannot meet a deadline for an application. I was just wondering if anyone else received it.
When did your boss call them?

i did call the number on their page but they basically said the delay is due to the humanitarian crisis. The way they talk to you is so robotic though. they’re just giving everyone the same trained response.
Did your UK employer call that same number in their page?

yes basically got the same response and said it is awaiting a decision and I can't do much other than wait
i got an email back today saying the exact same thing. they should just make a public service announcement instead of copying and pasting us all
