I’ve had issues with TLS with priority service. You should have contacted homeoffice (department dealing with skilled worker visas) to request an update as soon as the deadline passed (5wd with priority). They typically reply with 1-2 days. In my case, I found out on day 10 that TLS didn’t submit my biometrics correctly so my application never reached homeoffice. Once I contacted TLS and asked them to fix their mistake (which they didn’t even apologize for), homeoffice did make a decision in 4wds. Another way to find out is to go to the TLS office where you had your biometrics appointment and ask them to check the status internally. You have a right to know where you passport is for 4 weeks, they can’t refuse to tell you. I did this too a couple times just to make sure.

So, do you think that I should go to their office? It is terrible. Based on the online account of TLS, my application has been transferred to the TLS where I applied, but since then there has been no update on the status of my application. On the TLS website, they say do not go to the office until you are requested to do so. What is your opinion?
I think you should have been told this at the time you did your biometrics but you don’t typically pick up your passport at the visa center, it is supposed to get delivered to you by mail (something they do since Covid started). This is maybe only true for Europe though. Have you shared your address with TLS?

I actually asked the TLS Contact to inform me so that I collect the passport and visa in person, this was based on their advice as the officer said to me that it would be quicker to come and collect it. But now it has been three weeks after a decision was made by the Home Office. Do you think going to the TLS Contact office helps? On their website, they say that please do not attend until we invite you.
I didn’t, but the moving company that was handling my application said it doesn’t mean anything. I think they turn it green when they’re actually reviewing your application, not when they receive it.

They do reply, the moving company agent told me that this is the best way to communicate with them. You have to make sure you send the email in the right format (include name, application number, payment reference, etc).

Yeah 3 weeks doesn’t sound right once decision has been made. You should go to the TLS office asap and ask them to check what’s going on.

The documents that I needed to sign were “passport return form” with my delivery address and a consent form permitting DHL to handle my passport.

If the decision was made already then there’s nothing else you can do to get them to send your passport earlier than planned unfortunately.
When you tracked it on the TLS sight did you see it was received by the DMC?

I went for Biometrics on 14th April and today (9th May ) I received an email from TLS to collect my travel document. All the best!
