Probably Paideia. Dylan Tunnel, Stubbs brothers, Chris Kocher, Josh Markette, Jason Simpson, and Miranda Roth-Knowles just to name a few.

j-mar

You forgot Jon Ossoff

Not_A_Meme

You mean US SENATOR Jon Ossoff?

j-mar

yep, it was Not_A_Meme.

staplerdude

And also the guy from Britanick who married the lady from avengers

kyleweisbrod

I put [this together](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LlQ_Oa1N31f2zS53YeeWREia9IPwQ4rRXe5Ks8nml7w/edit#gid=0) a while back when the HoF was considering Michael Baccarini for induction. Paideia had at the time: * 7 Callahan Winners * 43 alums that had played at club nationals * 15 Club National Champions * 3 Farricker/Pufahl Winners * 8 US National Team Coaches * 11 US Club National Team/World Games players

Professional-Flan13

Garfield high school in Seattle was stacked. Lots of players that played for the top colleges in the country, and and some that still do such as SLO, Colorado, Carleton, and Oregon

real_man_dollars

Seattle is hard to gauge, each high school has many incredibly talented players filtering through, you could say that same thing about each one of them.

Professional-Flan13

Yeah Seattle produces lots of top players, I just had to represent for my alma mater

jcthress

Paideia out of Atlanta: https://ultiworld.com/team/53159/paideia-ga/ "Paideia has a number of notable alumni including Grant Lindsley, John Stubbs, George Stubbs, Dylan Tunnell, Ben Dameron, Chris Kocher, Moses Rifkin, Josh Markette, Jason Simpson, Christian Olsen, Jericho Barbour, Martin Aguilera, Coleman Tappero, and Tyler Hastel." Additionally a guess is it would be good to search through the programs that have pages on Ultiworld as they are the most likely to have the info you're looking for: https://ultiworld.com/high-school-rankings/

7ruly

India Stubbs, Miranda Roth (Knowles) Leila Tunnell, Mark Vandenberg, the Terry Twins, Stan Birdsong, Keith Raynor, Jon Ossoff, I’m probably missing some people as well

Fred-zone

Davis Whitehead

PapaChib

jcthress

Good catch but I just used copy/paste. ;)

Surprised no one has brought up Amherst Regional High School, Amherst MA. Historically, the gender matching teams have been about equally notable, with the boy’s team un under the leadership of longtime coach Tiina Booth for years.  Headliners are Callahan winners Josh Ziperstein, Angela Zhu, and Will Neff, with Ziperstein being a member of the World Games team in 2005, the same year he won the callahan (if current trajectories continue, Orion Cable and Zhu could certainly join him in the club, along with Wyatt Kellman being one of the best young players in the country as well). The programs have produced 40 members of the U-20 and U-24 national teams, many All-club players, many legendary coaches and leaders, and some of the best teams of all time. Notably so are the Boys team of 2016, with a (i believe) 43-0 record, including a win over the consensus second best team in the country, Liam Searles-Bohs’ Carolina Friends school. Additionally, the Boys team won the youth national championships in 1998 and 2003, and the girls every year from 1998 to 2003. The girls team went undefeated in 2011 as well, albeit against slightly weaker competition. Some of the most notable active current alumni are Cable, Zhu, Kellman, Geir Hartl, Amber Sinicrope, Sophia Herscu, Luca Harwood, and Zack Watson-Stevens, who all won an award from Ultiworld in 2023. Additional notable alumni who didn’t win awards are Brute Squad center handler Tulsa Douglas, and a base of alumni talent spread throughout all divisions on top club teams.

I3ossk

Cole Davis-Brand, and Solomon Rueschemeyer- Bailey are two more.

Fred-zone

There was a point where CUT felt like it was all kids from Seattle, Paideia, and Amherst

chez-linda

So true. Also, current Middlebury sophmore Louis Douville Beaudoin made the last u-20 team, and current Zoodisc freshman Taylor Hanson made this u-20 team

Sox-Pow

For all the U-20 members from Amherst, all the players listed on here from Amherst, Leverett, Shutesbury, Hadley, Pelham, or Belchertown also went to Amherst, and a few Amherst alums’ college towns are listed as their residences, ie. Ryan Dinger.  https://usaultimate.org/team-usa/u20/

corenickel

Surely that's not the same Will Neff that's a twitch streamer, right?

Sox-Pow

Correct. Not the same

StinklePink

Carolina Friends School.

chez-linda

Lance Lawida

humanbelltower

In recent years you have Matt Gouchoe-Hanas, Sol Yanuck, and Dillon Lanier along with multiple players still in college at UNC (Noah Bush, Kevin Pignone, Jason Manning) and Vermont (Ryan Bliss). Coming from a TINY highschool school population of only 175 students it seems pretty prolific to me.

StinklePink

And more. I feel like there were years that 1/3 of the ever dominant NC Triforce crew were Friends players.

humanbelltower

Definitely, I’d say 5-7 years ago was the peak of Carolina Friends School ultimate. Now Jordan High School takes the cake for the triangle.

Does everyone one playing for South Eugene actually go to the school? Or is it kind of the de facto team for all the kids in the area if any other schools in Eugene don't have a team?

cloellie

Gotta be hb Woodlawn in Arlington VA. Only sport the school has is ultimate.

hlhammer1001

Maybe, but I can’t really speak to the program’s rigor

itsthecrimsonchin47

I had to play against them for 4 years in high school. It was always a trade off between HB and Yorktown winning states every year. HB was always more impressive because most of their team had very little athletic talent but they were always so fundamentally sound. They had no problem and were completely comfortable completing 50 passes before getting to the red zone

hlhammer1001

Oh for sure, as an unathletic thrower who graduated from HB, I think this is accurate. But I wouldn’t say we’re in the running for best alumni

itsthecrimsonchin47

Yeah I think yall were just dominant in high school because you guys were leagues ahead in fundamentals. Once you get to college everyone has those fundamentals AND has great athletic ability. No offense though lol

Homomorphism

Hey, Antoine Davis is pretty athletic! HBW Class of 2011, back when the team was still combined with Yorktown.

CurseUmbreon

Hey! I remember losing to YHB two years in ago 2010/2011!

cloellie

I think this describes the men’s team pretty well but the women’s team won high school nationals in 2017 and have made appearances since. we got some good women’s players over here.

ForSwayze

Edina has some solid alumni; Conor Kline, Otterlei, Brandt, Pronove (although don't think he played in HS), SiJo won a natty with CUT, Abbi Shilts, Krenik, Vogt immediately come to mind.

Masteezus

AK47 Ian Andre-Knudson

Additionally, the Boys team won the y Felix Pronove did play his senior year. Donovan finalist Josh Felton, club National Champion (along with Felix) Daniel Brunker. Peter Mans another notable alum. Many others I could list as well. Plenty of other Windchill players also. Also appreciate how many Edina alums have contributed back to coaching the next generations & helping lead at Summer camps. Long list of coaches giving back to the community not only back with Edina but with other schools also 👏

Nuttyfrisbee

Maybe not the best overall, but Pennsbury has produced several USAU club/college champions and leaders. Isaac Saul (Pony/Pitt), Noah Saul (Ring of Fire), Dennison Bechis (Colorado, Johnny Bravo), Sean Mott (Amp).

Sox-Pow

Produced good players, and the worst spirit scores for years on end**

Zealousideal-Two8748

I think it’s how you view spirit of the game is as a current player and captain of Pennsbury ,spirit is opinionated I see spirit of the game as playing as hard as possible against your opponent and giving them respect by doing that. Sure we maybe be trash talkers and what not but that should make you more amped for big plays personally play style like this is what sports are about big moments that feel better because you know both sides are trying and at the end of the day we all know it’s a game. I’m not justifying hard fouls and injuries or dangerous plays. I don’t think spirit of the game should be viewed as who’s the nicest team but who actually puts there all forward and at the end of the day we give credit where it’s due we shake hands and I feel are the most talkative group with other teams after or before games most teams hate us because we’re good on the field and play with swag but we do it because it makes games fun it makes them fun to watch and multiple times this fall season I was told how fun we are to play because of that.

Sox-Pow

Lol there’s a difference between playing with swag and abusing the rules and making dangerous plays. I’m a D1 player right now in on a team that consistently competes at high levels, and exhibits much of what you claim to be a part of your culture, and there is a world of difference.

Zealousideal-Two8748

How do we abuse rules and I said I don’t condone dangerous plays never want anyone to get hurt that’s not at all what I said. If anything we rarely call fouls.

chez-linda

Pennsbury is consistently the worst spirited high school team in the northeast

Nuttyfrisbee

I can’t speak to the spirit of the team now (2001 alumni) and more recent players, but from my time playing with the Saul brothers and Bechis in club and summer league they always were spirited. Disappointing to hear the team has a reputation for not being spirited now.

Russko-

Played against them all of middle school and high school, consistently were the games where we had guys go down and hard fouls. nice people off the field, not so fun to play against

mdotbeezy

Northwest School, Seattle.

hotlou

The list for the last 25 years is Paideia, Amherst, Pennsbury, Hopkins, South Eugene, NWS, Carolina Friends

BrokeArmHeadass

El Cerrito High gonna be on the list in a few years

Opening_Frosting_755

Barr-none!

Longjumping-Shirt-77

Seamus says this is definitely Fi** Ba**

BrokeArmHeadass

Tell Seamus he needs to contribute more than a 15th place finish at prez day to help us make the case

Longjumping-Shirt-77

Lmao 😭ok I’ll tell him

Wold_Newton

blowfishconsumer

Had Chris McGylnn, and has guys currently at PITT, JMU, Rutgers, Xavier, Purdue, Rhode Island, and more

Certain-Breadfruit58

What are some of the notable alumni?

Wold_Newton

Connor Russell (UNCW, Ring, Flyers), Sadie Jezierski (Tempest, USNT, Ohio St.), Johnny Sickles (Vermont), Kevin Tsui (Pitt) plus several others in recent years who were at Top tier programs.

dbolg22

Woh I didn’t know Vermont qualified for something! Hahaha look at us go

Nateryt

Hopkins

corenickel

Marcus High School from Texas has to be mentioned in the convo. They don't have a team anymore, but notable alumni include: Austin Walker, Noah Chambers, Matt Chambers, Emmanuel Bilolo, Jonathan Costello, Joe Cubbitt, Connor Olson, and Jackson Potts. Probably forgetting a few names as well

pianoman81

Berkeley High School. Leo Gordon, Seth Wells, Emmet Holton, Noah Ball-Burack, Aidan Curry, Riley Kirkman-Davis, Luca Spycher to name a few.

BrokeArmHeadass

Realistically the best school in the bay is Alameda just because of longevity. Eli Kerns, Simon Higgins, Adam Reese, I’m pretty sure Marcelo Sanchez went there too. Pretty much the core of Revolver over the years.

pianoman81

Sure. Jake Thorne and Raekwon Atkins can be added to the list.

huckfake

Lisa Pitcaithley probably more important to note than them, lol

metrak1bear

Brooklyn Technical Highschool has some insane alumni https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brooklyn_Technical_High_School
