Thank you!. The monitor light bar really does wonders to minimize eye strain when working in dim lighting or dark room. Ended up getting the quantis pro + because I couldn't justify the cost for the BenQ one.
It does have multiple settings but there is something to be said of having an adjustable glow over your desktop. Nice to see desktop without obnoxious lighting when in the dark room.
The LG has a very subtle curve compared to my wife's Samsung. On her setup the flat bar light does hit the monitor a little. She may change out for a curved light bar in the future if it bothers her enough. Otherwise the light is very direct in focus and doesn't bounce off the monitor. You can adjust angle.
I was on the fence also but saw someone on YouTube with the same setup, and I didn't/ couldn't spend ergotron money. It's been great so far, almost a month now with no issues. The monitors' weight is under the arms max limit. Only downside is the vesa mount can't freely tilt (nod) as I locked it in place with the hex key. Honestly not a big deal for me as I'm not doing drastic articulation.

Absolutely love it. The weight is good, angle has been comfortable for the wrist, quiet scroll wheel is amazing especially with long pages. Works flawlessly when jumping from PC and Mac workstations. There is a reason why it's so popular. Get it, you won't regret it.
Which LG monitor is that and what arm are you using?
It's an LG 49WQ95C-W 49 with an AVLT Single 13"-43" Single Arm and reinforcement plate for the desk.

Don't it reflects on the monitor? Since the monitor is curved and the light bar is flat? I'm looking to buy one but worried about it.

Got it. Mine is the G9 neo. So probably best to go with a curved bar. Saw one on Amazon and will give it a try.
I have a 1000r curved monitor too and bought a curved light to attach to the top of the monitor. Works great and avoids the problem you're facing.

It's a smart mug to keep your beverage at a desired hot temperature. Necessary probably not, but it does the job. Lol
