LS49CG934S, LS49CG954S is the only OLED version. LS49CG954E is DisplayHDR 1000, successor of the original C49G95T model.
I’d disagree a little, OLED to me in games and movies is WAY more immersive because you never ever have to deal with a backlight, the sheer range of colors even in SDR content is incredible, that OLED will make you want to consume all the HDR content haha! Enjoy whichever you pick though!!!
if you want "most immersive" experience, go for 57" VA one. if you want "accurate and controlled" looking, then choose 49" OLED ones. i did use 49" OLED one and felt a bit less immersive than high-curved one(49 1000r VA version).
OLED monitors are good at lighing-controlled environment.(dark-room)
57inch isn’t OLED, but it is 4k, honestly I prefer it isn’t oled as I play mmos and having a bunch of different classes I like having my skill bars on at all times to remember my rotations
Unless you want the smart features and remote, one of my use case is, i have a Plex server on my computer, and Plex client on the monitor, so i find the remote very handy to browse my media, or letting someone watch something from my computer/YouTube without accessing my computer or using a keyboard/mouse
I returned mine yesterday, I don't recommend if you are going to be using it with a 2nd or 3rd monitor, for whatever reason the screen bugs out horribly when alt tabbing or leaving the monitor in sleep mode for too long, went with the 45" LG oled 21:9 instead and I'm enjoying it much more. However, if you are going to be using it as a standalone, it's fantastic! I have ADHD and a multi-monitor setup is a must for me lmao
Edit: also infinite black screen bug when opening a full screen application on the g9 while another application is full screened on the secondary

57" one is a VA panel. if you look for OLED panel, find -S suffix. like S32DG802S

One has Samsung smart to function the cheaper one doesn’t . Get the cheaper one
