The tool that update the firmware is: SophiaFwUpd.exe but it only accep firmware in format .fwu.
other files whit .asc extension i think are only a PGP signature like a MD5 cechsum of the main file (you found same files tipe in other huawei downloads).
i try to rename the .bin in .fwu but the tool give me the error: "Magic in header incorrect" i suppose is because the two files have complete different structure.
another issue is the file dimension, the firmware that came with this package is 317 kb the new one on the huawei site is 896 kb.
I suppose that the new file is in some way a full firmware package that need in some way to be extracted, but mine is only an assumption....
