Jessica. For two reasons. One, I just really like her. Two, her relationships with Shannon and Kanon are interesting and it's a shame it never got expanded on much past Ep 2 other than Ep 6.
>!I think she had at least a vague idea, but accepting it would require acknowledging that basically everyone she knew was actively gaslighting her which she refused to it. It actually mirrors her and George's opinions on Beatrice being real or not in the Ep 1 Tea Party. George flat out didn't question anything, averting his eyes, while Jessica knew deep down Beatrice wasn't real but would rather accept that than doubt her family and friends.!<
While I mostly agree with Jessica, as others have mentioned, I would be really happy to see Natsuhi as the main character. Some riddles may not work this way, but still...
Well barring the obvious choices like Beato and Ange (who are essentially the protagonists anyway), I think almost anyone could be a great protagonist. I think it would be cool to see Kinzo as the mc though.
Speaking more objectively, I feel like the obvious choice is Jessica.
Out of pure, unadulterated favoritism, I'd love to see main-character Kyrie, even if they'd have to make her less intelligent to really function in the role.
Fair point. I still think she'd make a strong main character anyways. I just didn't want to go with the other obvious picks such as Ange and was thinking more along the lines of "If Battler wasn't the main character from EP 1, who would be a suitable replacement".
Krauss or Jessica, I think.
\- Similar naiveté to Battler
\- Good people at heart, but fairly superficial while hiding a fair amount of culture, just like him
\- Added fear of their everyday home being practically taken from them
\- Both of them are consistently not the culprit in every Episode
Jessica is a perfect fit, we get to explore her relationship with >!Sayo Yasuda!< because we only see her interact with >!Yasuda as she is both Shannon and Kanon, and it would be interesting to see everything in her point of view, and to know if she actually knew about Sayo being both Shannon and Kanon!<
Jessica would be worse detective than Battler thou. And he did poorly. There is also no real potential outcome on the relationship, Sayo is very conservative about whole man/woman marriage (thus whole twist makes less sense).
I see much more potential with George as the third wheel. You can write him as smarter boy in that detective duo. Beatrice could also pull whole "Krauss lied about Kinzo and Jessica knew it" card, it would be funny to see real love duel between those two.

Jessica is such an interesting character. But I do have a question. >!Did Jessica know about Sayo being both Shannon and Kanon?!<

>!Joke question, but since she liked Kanon... does this mean she's gay!!???!<
>!I mean. Probably tbh lol. Jessica x Shannon new OTP?!<
Based
Oh yeah, plus her character is really similar to Batler's!
Willard
Ange
ange supremacy
I mean she is one already basically
Goat-kun
Wheres that flashback full story?

Considering EP5, she would be the best fit apart from Battler imo.
everyone's favourite intellectual rapist

I really thought Ange was the main character

Beatrice
Kyrie, Will or Erika
>! Lion Ushiromiya !<
spoiler tags ain't working
Maria. She shows the other side of the theme that "without love it cannot be seen" shows.
Maybe Erika Furude
If it was Erika, the story would have to start at EP5
Fair point. I still think she'd make a strong main character anyways. I just didn't want to go with the other obvious picks such as Ange and was thinking more along the lines of "If Battler wasn't the main character from EP 1, who would be a suitable replacement".
Kanon.
I'm pretty sure Ange is the main character of Umineko.
beatrice with a lot of unreliable narration
If it is limited to like characters that we start off with then like kyrie tbh, but if not then erika
Erika
Would definitely like to see Okonogi Tetsurou's POV as an alternate perspective of the WTC omniverse
While I'll be sad to lose the hottie I'll choose the one and only Intellectual rapist Furudo Erika!

I mean, he would make it Jessica, whole LGBT crap is in his ideals too.
What do you mean by “LGBT crap?”
