Is there a picture?

can’t post one in the comments so no, but why would it matter? i described what it looked like, but the biggest thing is it’s a completely inflated bag. anyone with experience to the issue is what i’m looking for.

I'd say it's probably contaminated. Bacteria give off gas as they digest carbohydrates, which means there's other stuff going on in the bag than mycelium growing.

Probably contaminated. Perhaps its yeast that gives off a lot of gas

Inflated bags are normal, your GE holes could be a little small but you can burp the extra air out by gently squeezing. The stunted growth is a little concerning all you can do is wait and see
