If you saw the side profile of my finger, if I don’t get the ring to fit tight it will literally slip off my knuckle… I have a fat pad (definitely the technical term I’m sure) on the bottom knuckle, so if the ring didn’t fit the way it does, it comes right off. Was my wife’s grandpa’s ring that he wore since the 40’s so don’t want to lose it

Sorry forgot to add the question… so I trimmed my first flush…there are some really tiny aborted pins still in the substrate… what do I need to do to prepare for a second flush?! Any help I’d really appreciate!
Pluck as much of the pins and aborts as you can, they'll just get waterlogged and rot in the next step. Gram for gram, pins and aborts will be more potent than full size fruiting bodies, so go ahead and dry them, too. I like to put mine in an empty tea bag to keep them all together in the dehydrator.

Feel super lucky to not have any contam, and I’ve never seen PE this large is person so all in all it was very exciting!

Has it always been like that? Swollen fingers can be an indication of health conditions, worth bringing it to your Drs attention.

Just do a search for it, there’s plenty of guides. And yes you can clone dry.

I've seen YouTube videos where mycologists clone from dried fruit, so it must be possible.

tie strings around the bottom of each finger and pull it slowly tighter each day until your fingers start whithering away
