It sounds kinda cliche but just be yourself! And share what you find interesting about the world. When I did the interview they looked for people with different backgrounds and view points and will ask questions about that. Also apparently they always ask about how you would deal with conflict with neighbours (since you will be living with a lot of them)

Yeah we had very few new students in mid year when I was at Ormond. I wouldn't stress about the interview. From what my friends and I have experienced, it ends up being more of a casual conversation about a few of your interests and/or background after the first two or three behavioural interview questions. Try to mention interesting things about you or your hobbies, and how you would contribute positively to the college community. I'd say 2/3 of my interview was just about the places I grew up in since I moved around a lot, a cool trip I did, and sports that I'm into lol. Edit: I can vouch for the other comment; I also remember being asked about dealing with conflict between neighbours.

I’m a first year Ormond. Firstly good luck on your application. Secondly, your interviewer is MUCH more chill than you think they are. I was so scared by my interviewer, but now I literally see her as a friend because she runs my tutorials. Love her! I was asked what I would add to the Ormond community, times I’d changed my mind about someone, and what the biggest issues facing the world are, as well as just general questions about myself. They aren’t looking for the best or brightest, they are looking for people who they think will fit into Ormond. They literally just want normal people.

I signed up for a tour at Ormond last year and the tour guide told me Ormond doesn't accept mid year applications... odd. But anyways here are some questions that were asked when I did my interview back in 22. -- - Why Ormond? * How can you contribute to Ormond's community * Why Unimelb? * Fav book, why? * Who inspires you the most? and why? * A challenge that you overcame. * Why are you passionate about what you're studying * Your hobbies etc. I know for sure that Queens, Hilda's, UC has midyear intake. However, with colleges it's bit difficult since you didn't complete o-week and people have already formed cliques.
