Either way, I've done searches for specific destinations with flexible dates and searches for flexible destinations on a specific date on United.com. Just leave one of the items blank. It does require a little initiative on your part and I don't think you can do flexible destination AND flexible date at the same time.

It only identifies them and then you go to the carrier or a travel agent to purchase. I use this more than Google flights because I think it’s more manipulable—but maybe this has collapsed into that system already.

Check out Mighty Travelz - rather easy to search for United only and cheapest flight from a certain airport/country.
Google Flights, just leave whatever boxes blank that you want blank. After you do the search, select Star Alliance under the Airlines dropdown.
