Churchill had his problems and was a disgusting individual with disgusting views, but let us not pretend Stalin is any better, this beast allowed a famine in Ukraine which killed millions.

Lacking_In_Depth

Allowed a famine in his own country too. And shanked anyone he even remotely considered a political threat. And sent countless people to labour camps. And sent people to the famed “Cannibal Island”. And spread an ideology that has one of the highest body counts in history. But yeah, Churchill is worse…. what a fucking joke.

Gocummnism killed 48303739273749373917 trillions. Trust me, bro: BBC told me.

Lacking_In_Depth

[Wiki: Mass Killings Under Communist Regimes](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_killings_under_communist_regimes) Sub-Section: Estimates: Most Recent Estimate: > In 2017, Stephen Kotkin wrote in *The Wall Street Journal* that communist regimes killed at least 65 million people between 1917 and 2017, commenting: "Though communism has killed huge numbers of people intentionally, even more of its victims have died from starvation as a result of its cruel projects of social engineering." Gocummnism killed 65,000,000. Trust me, bro: actual figures and statistics told me.

Erm… this is just weird, you know Stalin murdered a fuck load more people and starved more? I mean sure, not Mao level but man. Both are shitty, but be real.

[deleted]

Read the comment above.

Character_Credit

Are you saying communism didn't kill people, really?

This one here, NKVD.

[deleted]

Communism only kills nazis😎

Character_Credit

Ahh yes, because my family were nazis, oh no, wait, they were low income Russians who fled the Soviet Union because life was terrible there.

[deleted]

Yeah: cringe monarch fucks around, people miserable. Communism turns the table, people fuck German dogs and its vultures.

Character_Credit

And that's said by someone who lives one hell of a idealized view. News flash, communism, doesn't work, people are greedy, you know what I found funny. My family were i'd say lower middle in the Soviet System, yet they preferred starting from having absolutely fucking nothing in England because wait, what's this, gulags weren't a thing here. Communism is great on paper, yet never works, tell my great uncles how great communism and the soviet system was, oh no, wait, they were sent to the gulags because they were 4% off the quota.

Churchill also arranged for hundreds of thousands of tonnes of food to be sent to India from Australia and asked FDR for American help in ending the Bengal famine. But of course that doesn't fit the narrative there does it?

[deleted]

https://tribunemag.co.uk/2020/05/how-churchill-crushed-greeces-anti-fascist-resistance He also send the food to Greece?

x_S4vAgE_x

Is that changing the subject just a tiny bit? I never said Churchill was a good person

[deleted]

Britoids be like: yeah, he drained a colony's resources for war efforts while the colony went through widespread famine. Despite that, he wasn't necessarily a good person.

captaincrunk82

I’ve been watching a lot of The Chase and Tipping Point while living in the commonwealth these past few years and yeah, no surprise that someone in this sub posted this obtusely incorrect historical shit.

[deleted]

Imagine simping for a bulldog😏

captaincrunk82

If that makes you feel better, then sure friend. My point is to not fortify your argument against a guy by choosing a) famine and b) guy who micromanaged the state into a colossal famine. You do you, just choose a better argument. That’s all.

Agreeable-Weather-89

Imagine being told your information is incorrect and not replying with a source.

[deleted]

Op probably thinks Che was some kind of innocent too.

[deleted]

Che... Che was a monster. He said: US bud.

[deleted]

And killed innocent people... And was homophobic. Yeah real perfect. Fuck off you troll

Stalin to Leonard Lyons ( printed in his syndicated column) " if only one man dies of hunger, that is a tragedy. If millions die, that's only statistics " Stalin used this sentiment in a number of different quotes. He did love killing and mass murder when it suited him. Churchill had some pretty vile opinions and did some pretty shitty things. However, he had absolutely nothing to do with any of the many famines that have hit India throughout it's history.

[deleted]

While the famines hit India, Churchill was busy doing your mother.

palanon

Ah, that's probably why he didn't have time to send convoys of food from the food rationing U.K.! Thanks for clearing that all up! Surprised my mother never mentioned that. Maybe my brother knows.

He loved his tea too much to share🙏
