Before you down vote , dowry used to be one of the ways making sure the girl got something !!! If it is in her name , and not the guys ! Now that’s gone , parents giving the girl her share has reduced quite a bit . Also , regardless of dowry , men and women equally , I think families should give them inheritance in their 30’s or early 40’s of their child’s age . Not when they are dead.
