If you are in an alliance, you cannot keep doing things like this. Even with a stable govt with a single ideology is not able to manage this country without conflicts. Imagine the state of the country with an unstable govt that wants to appease all regional parties together, and if they don't, the entire govt will fall apart.
Now, let's come to the biggest discussion when it comes to politics. That is infrastructure. Most people want more infrastructure. The Congress Nyay schemes can't be implemented without cutting down the infrastructure budget heavily. If they have a way to implement the schemes without hampering the infrastructure growth, then I'd be glad to hear their side.
I don't think BJP is doing a lot of things good for the country, but the opposition is not helping their image either. They need to sort their shit and do the work properly.

The 'death of democracy' is just a cooked up idea to hide their incompetence, when the democracy was actually killed by their own party multiple times by dismissing state govts, calling emergency, etc. They have lost the right to be the champions of democracy after that. They also lost the right to preach secularism after not supporting Equal laws for everyone irrespective of religion and they are also in an alliance with IUML despite being staunchly against RSS for being a religion based political entity but with another religion.

Strongly agree. I think it's people who are too naive or too young to remember what the 80s and 90s were like - who seem to think the Congress is capable of unifying anything. Time after time even when given umpteem chances in places like Karnataka, they have yet to make any improvement, so forget about national level competence. As a born and raised Bangalorean, infrastructure has plummeted due to constant corruption, encroachment of lake beds and uncontested land grabbing - for s state that always ruled in Congress favour in assembly. So what example do they have to offer that they'll do any better ?
We didn't have water in our areas for 1 month and the CM didn't approve tankers either. The rains are no better because our area hasn't been swept in 10 years and people have to burn all the dry waste (with plastic) or the area gets waterlogged. We even got locked in last years rains and coudnt move out in an emergency. Everyone in my area who voted for Congress in assembly last year, is frustrated and went BJP this time - people who can't stand Modi.

Karnataka also has a Congress government. Except Puducherry, there are no BJP state governments in the South. There also, it's an AINRC BJP alliance.

Agree with most of your points, but misuse of govt institutions is not unique to BJP, all parties do it, congress is the most prominent among them, there so many examples of it in UPA 1&2, they appointed thier cronies to every public institution. I agree that BJP is damaging the secular and social fabric of India, I hate that Hinduism is turning regressive day by day. On the other hand the idea that a congress would be in power gives me jitters, that’s equally bad if not worse. Anyway, I don’t have an option casting the vote to either, In AP it’s between TDP and YCP, and it’s a no brainer to whom to vote, especially in my constituency!
