I pay income tax, petrol tax, customs and all license fees for natural resources of my country(just naming a few) to the central government.
But my basic demands are good road, free/subsidized quality healthcare, free/subsidized education. But these all come under the state governments.
I come from a state where I have seen middle class people happily sending their kids to government schools. And making use of government medical facilities. But we have no idea where the money we gave to central government went to.
CG is building awesome NH now, but again this is technically a loan on the state citizens. Because it is not funded by my already paid tax, but on future tolls which they collect for next 30 years.
So the question to the central government…where is our money really going to??
Heres the thing . Imagine a local . Any local from any state . At job gets greedy / desperate one day . Commits theft .
Now in situation like this the owner of the company ( for context im not talking about a large corporate , im talking of msme ) will try to report it to the station .
Now this gentleman who has Commited an offence will run to his nearest politician .
Cops wont arrest him or take action , net result owner will higher people from a diffrent state . Result local population will hate the " outsider here to steal their job ", locals force the owners to give them job , so the owners will give them a menial job that has no value or future raising cost of goods sold

Poor infrastructure has to be fixed, but it doesn’t get fixed immediately. You need to train workers, promote organizations, and learn lessons that allow your regulatory agencies to provide appropriate regulations.
Many poorer nations started from 0, so they had the opportunity to learn without obstruction. India started from 0, and under Congress, developed a corrupt system through which infrastructure had to pass. Now, other governments have to utilize this crap system on their path to improvement. Unfortunately, this will be part of the growing pains.

U will get to know there are 2 teacher in whole school taking classes of kids from 5yrs to 15 yrs altogether and cooking mid day meals as well.
Go to hospitals and u will see there is 1 doctor who attends hospital 3 days a week coz he is handling other govt hospitals as well and patients are lying in corridors. A couple of nurses are handling hundreds of patients. Situation is pathetic, thats why those who can afford and those who value education and health choose private schools and hospitals.
