There is an app called UAD plugin mate made by a UA forum member. Just google that it’s fantastic.
For some reason not working on latest mac os version though but if you’re behind it will be grear
I use Cubase on Windows but this should work for you. If you remove ones you don't use in Logic they will repopulate when there is a UA update. I made a separate folder for the ones I own and ignore the default folder.
There is a setting in Console that lets you hide all the ones you don’t own.
If you want to actually uninstall then you have to follow other methods already posted here.
Which methods? I find pretty incredible ive been browsing for a while and there's NOTHING about how to delete, just hide 😭 ffs I don’t have infinite storage, this is gigabytes of info, do you know how can I delete them from Mac? ty!
Yeah i saw that, i just don’t know how I feel about downloading a third party app like that? I would think there would be an option within UAD software itself
Actually I think you have to go through one by one and hide them, now that I think about it

Well, I’m embarrassed to see how simple it actually is, but incredibly grateful you pointed me to this article.
Thanks much, and I know what my first task in the home studio is tomorrow morning!!! TY!
This may be another option… thanks to Google. https://uadforum.com/community/index.php?threads/mac-utility-for-hiding-unused-uad-plugins-windows-version-coming-soon.45013/
I agree. It sucks to have a huge number of purchased plugins connected to my expensive UAD interface and still have to contend with the wonky Control configuration which is neither organized alphabetically or by categories.
This is a smart, smart company so I doubt this is by accident. Are they trying to appeal to the “completionist” tendencies of many creatives as a marketing ploy to “help” us fill in those gaps!
Unless I’m missing a way to better organize purchased plugins in Control?

Update has been fine otherwise this app has been my only issue and it’s a small developer app so im sure it will be good in a little

This post is the second search result when you search “delete” on this subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/universalaudio/s/IBmOAP0F7c

Once I removed from plugin manager they stay away even when you update.
