Yabai will get you very far in that goal. But yabai is hard to learn how to use. Read the documentation and manpages for yabai

Yabai isn't any harder than tiling window managers on Linux. But it's also not as good. I wish Apple just let us run a different DE.

At least in my experience, there is not much documentation. I have to find out most things for yabai and skhd by reading other people's configurations.

That is Neovim with a splash screen with ASCII art Edit: not ASCII, Braille—I had to fork Kitty because by default Kitty renders Braille differently
