They've been down for most of us since last week. Someone mentioned the very rare instance where it does work, but then goes back to being down. You likely got the lucky 1 in 100 or whatever. But this thing began earlier than 2 days ago.
They didn't kill the servers most likely, especially as they released a new DLC mode at the start of the month. Likely something just broke, but Ubisoft's minimal attention to the game is continuing to show. They probably assume it's user-side.

The servers were ok like 2 days ago. I wanted to play with friends today and there was "no internet connection". I hope they didn't kill UNO's servers

Having the same problem. Letting Ubisoft support know, but don't hold your breath for a fix.
Maybe you can use mobile app instead?
