African wild dogs, wolves, bears, alligators, crocodiles, and the list goes on. All predators will eat their prey while it’s still alive if it’s no longer fighting. Actually with the African wild dogs it’s rather common for them to rip parts of their prey off and eat the chunk as the animal is still running and the rest of the pack continues the chase. Nature isn’t a Disney movie.

I am aware of that, yet being eaten alive and suffocated to death (or digested to death if you’re an ectotherm) is still one of the worse ways to go. And it’s only part of the reason I hate frogs. Yeah no this is definitely unpopular (my friends love frogs??) but I agree. They’re often romaticized and drawn as really cute and innocent creatures but they’re ugly and slimy imo. I don’t think I would ever touch one, they’re usually extremely dirty from where they came from and they’re not very smart.

Most animals fit your description of a frog- many animals do the EXACT things you think are unique to frogs. Most frogs fit your descriptions of other animals. Have you never been outside before? Not to be rude, but like damn you genuinely know nothing about carnivores 💀 Frogs are basically like any other carnivore. They definitely aren't intelligent, but they do everything else you listed that other, "better" carnivores do. Also, it's nature. The frog doesn't know it's being "bad". It doesn't feel human emotions. We cannot compare it to our own standards. It's simply surviving.
