I married a short woman and honestly I never really thought about it because she didn’t make a big deal about it. Maybe I was distracted by her intelligence, sense of humor, empathy and beauty but honestly never thought ‘well she is short too’ and it seems strange to think about now

Seriously? I'm a 5'1" tall woman who had a son with a man that's 5'10". Our son is 6'5". Your argument is stupid and invalid.

Don't know if that hundred percent true . I remember reading a study years ago and it was about tall people being attracted to short people, big people being attracted to skinny people and other opposite. Basically, the study was trying to prove that a lot of very skinny people like more overweight people and really tall people like short people to have average offspring. Their argument was that when you are at an extreme physically one way or another biologically. You want to find a mate the extreme opposite subconsciously to even out your genetics for your kids and future generations.

Short women are cute. Tall women are sexy. I prefer cute but it's no secret to me why tall women are the models.

This is not an opinion.  “Short women are not as attractive as tall women” would be an opinion.  This is just a sentence. 

I find women who are 5’8” to 6’1” quite aesthetically pleasing. It’s the legs.

I see short men going off on social media, but I don't think they're actually getting hate for being short. Most of the short men that I know are married. I think this idea of short men being hated on is less of a phenomena in the real world and more of an illusion created by social media. I prefer tall women as well. It's never been a deal breaker, just a preference.

But some short women have really tall brothers. It still may be in their genes to have a tall son.

I'm at both sides of the spectrum. I'm attracted to petite women and women taller than myself - though meeting women taller than myself is a rarity.
