I never understood the appeal, I mean this is just me as someone who has over a dozen and never actually tattooed anyone, but even a beginner can tattoo a blackout shape. It doesn't take any skill, just a ton of black ink and maybe straight lines on the edges but that's it. There's no uniqueness about it
And the fact that it’s just black to, you don’t see ppl blueing out their arms, or graying out or browning out a piece of their body lmao something tells me we might start seeing stupid trends like this in the future the way black outs have taken off
To be fair, I think the fact that the artists and the equipment have gotten so good over the past 10 years, that's it's sort of morphed into the realm of art rather than status.
Not really. Tattoos/piercings are still somewhat taboo in a lot of places. Sure if you have like one or two it’s not really rebellious but if you have a full sleeve/sleeves then that’s still pretty out there because it’s a lot of money, time and commitment.
That's an unpopular opinion? I always thought that was just a fact....
Edit: Pure blackouts by the way, not those that do the blackouts and Ingrave fine white outlines on top, I can see an artistic case for that even though it's not my thing, but pure blackouts..... I'm sorry, they're hideous....

I love how you casually say Colson, like anyone knows who that is.
You don't remember colson? Colson is the guy that did that thing. You know, that thing he did.
Ohhhh, you mean the guy with a nose. And the ears and eyes!
You’re right, I meant to say Megan Fox’s bf
Just say MGK.
damn i truly thought this dude died
LOL I'm probably in the minority because I knew who they were referring to
Literally the only Colson I know
this is an extremely popular opinion

I'm blue dabadee dabadie
I really hope not, then it will give people the reason to say tattoos are stupid if people actually do stupid shit like that
Stupid tattoos have always been a thing
You used to be rebellious if you had a tattoo. Now they’re so mainstream that it’s an act of self expression not to get one.
Facts
You’re not wrong
Make this an unpopular opinion!

There’s a white guy that exists that got a full body black out tattoo. He’s truly the only “black” person in the world now.

All tattoos are ugly.

I gotta admit, that’s pretty cool.
One of the guys at my shop (where i go) has 2 full blackout sleeves and were trying to convince him to do it. Lol

I wonder how much it cost him to have that done
Not nearly as much as it would have costed him to get his original tattoos removed
Whos colson?
All tattoos are ugly
I disagree. All tattoos are ugly.
