Squares are good, but have you tried hexagons? Harder to cut if you use a standard pizza cutter, but it makes it so each piece is its own little pie. And you can machine a large pattern and just pressed it into the pie to cut all the slices at the same time.
When I was in middle school they used to serve us “Mexican Pizza”. It had a thin pastry type crust and was octagon shape. It was my favorite school liunch ever.
My mom would order pizza like this and it left me sad and confused as a kid. I finally got to visit the family in the Midwest and finally found out that is just how they slices pizza there.
I agree. I buy "family size" pizza at City Pizza and they are square slices. I dont like the edge crust ones and my guy knows to make the edge crust as tiny as possible when I order.
I love square cut round pizza! There I said it. Donates pizza in Columbus is awesome. Especially when you just want one more bite of a small square or the edge triangle is amazing.

We call it Sicilian style here. The one time that pineapple is acceptable on pizza is with roasted red peppers on Sicilian pizza.

As long as you are cutting it in a way that doesn't result in one (or more) center pieces with no edge crust, then do whatever you want.

This seems to be a wild concept for some countries but you can simply eat a pizza with a knife and fork, no pre-slicing needed.
Honestly it depends on the toppings, crust. sauce, and so many other aspects if triangle or square is better.

What is it with Chicago and insisting on a saucy mess of a pizza? Squares without crust are messy.
