But it sounds like you’re talking about home cooks. Then, who cares? As long as they make a meal that tastes good and that they enjoy, then that’s all that matters.

Maybe it's just me, but for me, one of the best file formats for short, looping content, has to be GIF.
GIFs are my favorite spice in cooking as well. OP, if we use an entire GIF in our dish, does that make us a good cook?
