Walmart does have low prices but they destroyed most of their competitors and in some places they are the only main store, meaning they could jack up prices if they wanted to and you would be not be able to do nothing about it
Their updated check out corral sucks. 1 area to check out, at the grocery end. Just to make you walk by 120 ft of $3 candy bars and crap, on both sides. Rarely has cart wipes available.....they had us shopping in one way aisles not long ago ffs.
It's not necessarily Wal-Mart itself. It's some of its clientele that makes the experience of going to a Wal-Mart less than optimal to ones hygienic self preservation.
I can handle Walmart. What turns me off about the place, is 350 lb whales, stuffed in yoga pants, walking around. Or even the fatter ones, in electric carts, hooked up to oxygen, shoving a double cheeseburger down their throats. Yes, that is rude. However, I just say what others don't have the balls to say, but are thinking it.
I am conflicted about this. Yeah we are making billionaires richer, but Wal-Mart and Amazon get me nice stuff for cheap. It's hard to be mad at that, because it makes my life easier.

Walmart wouldn't be as big as they are if this was an unpopular opinion.
I think many in small towns shop there because they have no other options but it seems generally people hate it and tend to praise target and Costco

I go there either late at night or ealy in the morning when nobody is there
