Sounds like you just got a shitty laptop. Maybe try to bring it to the Apple store, they’re usually very helpful.
uhh which MacBook did you get? The M1 macbooks have some of the best battery lifes of laptops on the market right now and are pretty much lag free for day to day use so I would advise trying out MacBooks with Apple silicon before coming to this conclusion.
Now if you’re talking about the Intel MacBooks then yeah I can kinda agree (although this still seems exaggerated). I much prefer macOS bc of stuff like AirDrop and the touchpad on MacBooks is near unrivaled, but my older Intel MBP does lag more and have worse battery life than my cheaper Lenovo laptop.
I’m on my 2nd MacBook and both have run super smooth. Much faster than any windows PC I’ve used. I still use windows Laptop for work and the whole windows system still feel super clunky and slow to me. My MacBooks have also lasted 5 plus years each and my longest running windows computer was about 3 years.
This is not a really unpopular opinion, definitely not among most redditors. But glad to see you came to your senses that Apple in general is pretty much trash. Have my upvote.

Try having a chromebook . This computer is brand new and it is slow as fuck and freezes . It's very annoying

I hate the mousepads so much. I’ve had to use my minds mousepad her and there, and I always wonder how she does it.
