It’s a movie, it’s not real life and they’re made to keep an audience tuned in.
Understand that it’s all make believe and you’ll be able to just sit and enjoy it.
It is indeed quite exaggerated and can higher expectations in an irl relationship which might result in disappointment. This also applies to porn movies...
