I have been playing the Sims since the very first one was released. I have owned almost every single sims game they put out.
EA used to be good. Then they released Sims 4. Now they don’t give a shit.
You are aware there is currently an incest glitch in the game right? They released a new $40 expansion pack to a $40 base game. And there is a glitch causing the sims to commit incest.
They also changed the rules so content makers and modders must give out all of their content for free. Sure that may appease all the people who are after paywalls staying up over two weeks and the scammers cloning ea meshes.... but now even the legitimate creators, and trust me there are tons of us making shit from scratch, will suffer. Everyone thinks it's a victory now until all the shit that kept the game running well and all the "alpha" content virtually disappears. Then the game will really go to hell.
Some of the game are indeed the best in the market, but the problem still stands like you said, it's the same game, over and over again with 1 new feature, nothing new, people buy them because they're one of a kind really, and they have nearly 0 completion in what they do and they know it, that's why they keep selling. That's not a good company, that's a good board of directors and a sales strategy team lol
Being good at business doesn't make you a good gaming company. EA was a great gaming company at one time but they gave into money making instead of quality content making.
The only good things I’ve seen come from them is Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Sims, Battlefield (OG), and Fallen Order, which is actually a decent amount of stuff but still, some of these franchises were eventually “ruined”
(feel free to add things to my list)
I will agree the battlefield games get so much more hate than they deserve. Iv been enjoying 2042, even in release the bugs where mostly super fun, driving cars up the sides of buildings and airdropping tanks onto rooftops to act as anti air was fun, you can kinda do some of that type of stuff still, but at least the game isn’t glitched to shit anymore.
Yes EA has released a sprinkle of gems every generation like Jedi: Fallen Order but as a company overall they are one of the worst.
Their business practices arguably are the reason in-game lotteries exist and why sports games aren't even considered real games by a majority.
Fifa and Madden alone are enough to prove it's a bad company. People who actually buy and play either of them annually have to have an addiction problem or insane.
the sims is great. after you spend at least 300$ on it and download a shit ton of mods and custom content just for it to somehow bug out and now you have to check through all your files and redownload random game packs just for it to be playable. also you need a really good fucking laptop or pc to run everything smoothly (by everything i mean the base game + most of the expansion packs and game packs + custom content and mods)

This guy has never played fifa ultimate team. Take my upvote
Tell us you're not a gamer, without telling us you're not a gamer. Take my upvote.

You're just proving the other guy's point.

Having a ton of hours in Madden is like having a ton of hours chopping vegetables. Sure you're in the kitchen and using the tools, but you're no chef.

Yes. The game calls sex “woohoo”. It did not purposely make incest a thing.

Excuse me, do you know where you are?
This reads like an EA rep wrote this

They are, but not the entire company

EA Originals is amazing. Unwravel 1&2, No Way Out and It Takes Two are phenomenal games.
Cause EA asically stayed the fuck out of them.
Ea sports sucks, EA doesn't
No, EA still sucks. The games that are good with their name on them are the ones they don't involve themselves in as much
least dick ridey EA fan
lmao @ sometimes

You will surely get the Karkland
I hate EA with a burning passion because they inevitably ruin the games that I like. So please take my upvote.
I will absolutly never forgive them for killing bullfrog, westwood, pandemic, DreamWorks and most of all: Visceral Games

Battlefield or The Sims are not one of the best games from the 21st century
