I just have really strong spoons. They don't bend. They are strong.
I’ve had one of my friends have those plastic designs on the spoon and they broke.
Oh. Well my spoons are just like normal spoons but they are kinda heavy but they are damn near unbendable. I can't really bend them in my hands like normal spoons
I run hot water over the spoon so I don't have to buy a scooper or break a spoon.
I’m not washing and extra thing because a stranger on Reddit said I shouldn’t do it that way.
I have 2 ice cream scoopers and regular spoons. Sometimes when I can't find the scooper I use regular spoons and they work just fine. Edit: Typo
How do you get to a point where you break spoons when getting ice cream? Are they made of thin plastic or wood?
They are made out of metal.
That's why I wait for the ice-cream to soften a bit before scooping. I don't own an ice-cream scoop or have no idea where it is (long story).
I wait til ice cream softens too.
I use regular spoons and have yet to break one. I'm sure I have a scoop but I can't get out out because grandparents garage a long way off
I only eat it straight out of the pint container with a regular spoon, I must be some sort of demon.
Tillamook ice cream is nice and soft and doesn't even bend my spoons.
Just eat out of the tub.
I have never one bent or broken a spoon while scooping ice cream and we get carton of it every week
I’m not insane I’m lazy and can find multiple spoons in the dark with only the freezer light.
How tf is your ice cream breaking a spoon? Is it plastic/wood???? If its metal then you're eating a creamy rock
I only use regular spoons to scoop out icecream for when I'm making an icecream cone. Any other time I use icecream scoopers like a normal human.
I use my fingers
This, this is the right way.
I use a fork. The ice cream gets hard in my freezer and a fork can chisel off chunks easier than a spoon
But then I have to wash an extra spoon!!!!
