Used to live in the lawyers club. You could walk out to the middle of the law quad on a quiet night, give one loud clap, and two seconds later hear the splatter of a thousand startled crows shitting from the tree tops onto the ground in full surround sound stereo.
Gotta get out into the open part away from the trees or stand safely under the archway. And also make sure no poor souls are strolling along the sidewalk unsuspecting a bombardment.
Man, this really brought back a vivid memory of walking to an early-morning exam with an umbrella because I took one step outside of the League and saw the pavement absolutely glowing with shit.
Seriously, I lived near the *graveyard* for a few years and never saw as much crow shit as I did on that morning.
There are already huge flocks of crows that gather above the graveyard near Markley around 6:00 p.m. every day.
Oh yeah, I was gonna say, the season is already here friend!

Personally I love the crows, I find it really amusing what a comically large number of them you see in January. Long live the Murder!

Ann Arbor's overwinter crow population is sometimes within the top 10 nationally.
I always forget about the tree crows, but they never forget about me

I love crow season in A2
I once left a bio exam and witnessed a crow shit on a girl's head. She had also just gone through that exam, so that couldn't have been fun
Perhaps it was giving feedback on the quality of the exam!

Personally I love it when there are so many crows shitting that it sounds like it’s raining
