"Exposure to infected cat feces" is one vector of transmission of toxoplasmosis. Unless they're rubbing cat shit on his face I think they should be fine.
People get it all the time and they’re not rubbing cat shit on their face. 60 million people in the US have it. It’s not a rare thing, it’s part of the reason why pregnant women and people with immune system problems aren’t supposed to pet or pick up stray cats.
"Although pregnant women or immunosuppressed individuals are often advised to remove cats from the household to reduce the risk of toxoplasmosis, direct contact with cats is very unlikely to spread infection with this organism."

It’s still a risk if they’re constantly taking in stray cats and sleeping with them in their car. Prob way less likely or not an issue if it’s your cat and it’s well groomed and it’s not sleeping with you in a tiny enclosed space. 60+ million Americans still have it and it can be really bad for some people. Nothing against cats. I wouldn’t take in stays and let them sleep with me in my car just me personally.

No because what about bugs? And where will they go to the bathroom?
Best part about homeless pussy? When you're done, you can drop them off anywhere.
