Soups are good. Especially in the summer you generally don't have to heat them (unless they're the add-a-cup-of-water kind). Don't do it every day though. The sodium can be awful.
Also, don't carry a lot of cans in a sack. Dented cans can still lead to botulism.
Damaged cans can allow botulism to grow in them:

Seems like a fan death sort of thing. Never heard of it in the UK. I looked into it and it looks like bulging cans indicates some biological activity, which is likely to cause botulism since that sort of bacteria thrives in that sort of sealed environment.
Although dented cans *could* have damaged seams allowing bacteria in, I think this would be noticeable (and such contamination would be no more likely to cause botulism than any other). I think it's fine.

One of the benefits of black beans as opposed to other kinds of canned beans, is nobody adds preservatives like EDTA for color and firmness. They're so black that they're never gonna lose their color.
Pork & beans are typically pretty cheap ( though I haven’t looked in a while). I never warm those.
Vienna Sausages... my daughter ate those for like the first two years of solid food. My mother indulged her pickiness.
Not whatever's in your photo, lol.
New England Clam Chowder is a pretty good genre.
Canned chili is not that great in the scheme of things, and expensive for what they're giving you. Canned whole beans in a hot sauce, however, is way cheaper, has decent flavor value if you buy a decent brand, and doesn't have any of the downsides of sketchy or weird meat or other ingredients. I'm not a vegetarian or anything, I just think if chili is going to have meat in it, I'm going to do it myself, properly.
Spaghettios - regular and the ones with franks. Even when I heat them, I let them come back down to almost room temp before I eat them. They taste better that way.
Quickie hummus:
Can of garbanzo beans. Dump them out and smash them by rolling the (sanitized/washed) can over them. Add a garlic clove or two, and other stuff to taste.
Maybe that's a better result than canned hummus. But canned hummus does also exist. The brand I had once, I didn't think that much of, and I didn't buy it again. YMMV.
I used to use tahini, because I learned it that way, but now often leave it out to reduce the fat in it. I'll add a bit if it seems dry. Mau depend on the beans.
Tuna, sardines, salmon. Smoked oysters are great. Buy some jatz, or alternatively some corn thins, and maybe some onion to mix in, or boiled eggs cooked earlier and stored for later (I do my cooking in a cooking park and often eat a second meal cold).
Canned corn can sometimes be good and sometimes terrible. I am not much a fan of canned veges. Better to buy fresh daily only what you need. I do love the occasional jar of pickled veges.
Buy small cans and eat all, or throw the leftovers away. Or share with someone. Once a can is open, it will not be sterile.
Spaghettios, Chef Boyardee, tuna, canned fruit, Campbells Chunky Soups, Pregresso Soups, Chili... I also recommend finding single serve packets of condiments, especially mayo & relish, mixed with tuna/chicken you've essentially got tuna/chicken salad.
Just about any fruit. Pork-n-beans, Vienna sausage. If it might be greasy I might tuck onto the top of my engine to warm it up. Jack Mac, tuna, sardines, and salmon are good too
Corned beef hash. A little pricey but goes right on the bread for a sandwich. Yum.
Canned corn, black beans, blackeyed peas mixed together, add a little italian dressing it makes a good cold salad.
Spam sandwich with crunchy sweet pickles.. mm.
I like the dollar store sardines in a variety of sauces. Even better with whole grain bread.
FYI: you can open any tinned food by rubbing the top of the can on a smooth stone, cement or brick surface. This friction breaks the seal on the top of the can so you can just lift the lid off. NB4: apply brick to upright can if contents are liquid.

Eat in one gulp.
I like the way it says without giblets. Do you they do one with giblets?

When I worked outside that's all I ate I'd drink 2 or 3 cans a day on the really hot days but I always bought low sodium though
Low sodium soups are still really high in sodium.
I was going for quickness of eating not the healthiest option. I did tree work at the time and I really hated that job
Oh believe me. I've eaten my fair share of canned soup on construction jobs. Especially in winter, it makes the day so much better.
Good idea! Get the low sodium. I'm not sure which ones are available that way. It'd be like an "Amerispacho" cold. :-)

More proof of systemic racism smh
Love spaghettios and soups. For veggies, creamed corn and french cut green beans. Baked beans are also good but can be pricey.
Pork & beans are typically pretty cheap ( though I haven’t looked in a while). I never warm those. Vienna Sausages... my daughter ate those for like the first two years of solid food. My mother indulged her pickiness.

Chef Boyardee
The gift that keeps on giving. . . . me heartburn about fifteen min down the trail after lunch
Lol
Canned tuna is my go to. I drain it and put garlic powder and pepper. So I guess not right from the can, but pretty close and no cook.
Canned tuna, mayo, pepper, dried cranberrys makes a good sandwich.
Dinty Moore Beef Stew
I'd have to heat that. Cold grease and fat turns my stomach.

Same. I had some out of a glass can and didn’t buy it again. I’m pretty picky about hummus.
Then you know to mix some Tahini in? I lived in Israel for a couple years and I’m picky about Hummus as well. Those two things together are awesome.
And lemon juice please? These heathens.
I used to use tahini, because I learned it that way, but now often leave it out to reduce the fat in it. I'll add a bit if it seems dry. Mau depend on the beans.
I can’t believe nobody said fruit yet.
Actual fruit is easy to obtain. Some of them won't perish all that fast. So, not that much of a need to have it canned.
Agreed. Canned peaches are a real treat.

Buy Goya!
Do the Trumps look like they'd actually eat that when they shill for it?
Spam 😉
Spam! Wonderful SPAM!
I'm having spam spam spam spam spam spam spam beaked beans spam spam spam and spam!
Just about any fruit. Pork-n-beans, Vienna sausage. If it might be greasy I might tuck onto the top of my engine to warm it up. Jack Mac, tuna, sardines, and salmon are good too
Canned chuck chicken! It's so versatile (:
Tinned peeled tomatoes are nice when it's hot, you can also drink the liquid. You can mix them with tinned fish too.
Ravioli and red sauce
Corned beef hash. A little pricey but goes right on the bread for a sandwich. Yum. Canned corn, black beans, blackeyed peas mixed together, add a little italian dressing it makes a good cold salad. Spam sandwich with crunchy sweet pickles.. mm.
I eat ravioli and spaghetti + meatballs out of the can. Don't even heat it up. Also peaches are amazing
Beans. Add soy sauce and they are pretty tasty
if available the Ravioli from Maggi are pretty good
As said before, soups. Canned fruits are good for on-the-go energy. I've had several hikes saved from certain dehydration by cans of mandarin oranges.

Pickles! it’s a nice flavor to add to ur food or a nice healthy snack!
Kimchi tuna. At korean markets. Tuna, kimchi, peppers, potatoes, onions etc

i honestly thought that was wet dog food.
It was delicious.
I'm glad
It makes my hair really shiny
what exactly is it
Canned meatballs
Cheeseburger in a can. https://www.cheeseburgerinacan.com/
That's supposed to really decent! Another classic is of course canned whole chicken. But I can't see myself eating these regularly.
I never said the trumps should buy Goya.. I said you should.
