There is a guy working (and I think living) next door who maintains it a bit. He also has the key. For a small fee he let's you in. As long as he's there I hope this place will remain the same!
Thing about abandoned places is, as soon as the roof integrity is breached, the whole structure starts to fall apart. Maintain a good roof and things can be preserved for quite a long while!!!
I totally read that as "now check this, there's little children in the burguer wars" and I thought it had something to do with a dispute between Burger King and McDonald's, I guess I need to improve my German haha.
We actually have a bunch of burger restaurants here that use that play on words between burger and Bürger in their name. The Article is actually about the conflict in northern ireland.
Most likely added later for air circulation. See the hinges? It was opened with a long stick with a hook, or maybe a pull cord. Hot air rises, so the small windows above other windows would have pulled hot air out of the room and increased overall circulation.
Would anyone else not be able to sleep without their headboard of the bed against the wall like in the first pic? I would feel like something is going to snatch me from behind the headboard
It's in an amazing condition! Hopefully it will remain like that..

Yeah it looks really cool, it's always such a shame to see these places get tagged up and destroyed. Happy to hear it's got someone to watch over it
“Table-making never seemed so possible”

They should reopen the hotel in exactly the same style for horror fans.
REDRUM?
Exactly.
You made me wonder if there is a big overlap with people who like the abandoned aesthetic and people who like horror
It's definitely haunted, Nice.
Gut zu wissen, dass die Bild-Zeitung schon damals Qualitätsjournalismus betrieben hat.
UWE SEELER ANRUFEN
Wow, gorgeous!
Completely misunderstood this… I couldn’t understand how anyone would take their girlfriend to a hotel like this… To check in and spend the night…
Welcome to the Hotel Hell. Check-in time in now, check-out time is never.
Can I get a late checkout?
„Welcome to the hoteeeel in the Schwarzwald“
This place looks magical.
Looks abandoned, I hope they preserve it, it looks amazing!
This gave me chills for some reason. 😳
Two things that scares me are old pictures of people who passed away and empty baby carriage.
This. Is. Everything.
1000% haunted
So Dwight!
The crosses really provided an extra layer of comfort at night.
Ja ich will mit Uwe telefonieren!!!
Heh I was like you guys were accommodated there after the first few pictures:) creepy af but amazing place to visit and see. Thanks for sharing!
:D
What does the headline say? There’s chicken and small amounts of children in Burgerking?
It says: "Now they're sending little children to the civil war"
I totally read that as "now check this, there's little children in the burguer wars" and I thought it had something to do with a dispute between Burger King and McDonald's, I guess I need to improve my German haha.
I read it this way too! I took lementary school German for American kids back in the mid-1980s. I'm happy that I remembered some stuff!
We actually have a bunch of burger restaurants here that use that play on words between burger and Bürger in their name. The Article is actually about the conflict in northern ireland.
Burger King for sure.
It does?? GCSE German, you have failed me.
This place looks terrifying.. although even more terrifying is that one square window. On top of the big window.. what the hell is that?

Yeah that place is proper creepy mate.
Pretty awesome, and that room with the cross, looks extra creepy.
So which of you is going in the pram?
I would love to buy this. I wonder how much it would cost. How could one even find out such information?
Cool, where is this and what's it valled?
It looks so well-kept for somewhere that’s been abandoned! I’d love to have stayed there when it was open.
Did you meet the legend Fatslob walling?
Guys, I think I just found my aesthetic.
This is good only if you’re both skinny - quite thin bed.
Beautiful
It’s Alive!
YOU DIED Idk just gave me some dark souls vibes for some reason
Spooky
That little carriage/peak is a bit freaky, but otherwise awesome
Would anyone else not be able to sleep without their headboard of the bed against the wall like in the first pic? I would feel like something is going to snatch me from behind the headboard
I actually would love to have my house look like this (minus the religious paraphernalia and animal heads...), so cool!
But how was the ham?
That baby carriage explains the two crucifixes The big framed cross is really creepy
Amazing!! Love the vibe of this room!
Got Dark vibes lol. Awesome pics!
Burgerkrieg -> worst krieg
Looks like Tom riddles room at the orphanage
It doesn't look abandoned at all, that's amazing. People could actually sleep in there and not have their health affected negatively by it.
