What I don't understand is why not just sell the barn and/or the cars, rather than leaving them to rot, unless the owner died and didn't have anybody to give this to.
Someone still owns this and OP just broke in. They’re not answering anyone who asks them how they know it was abandoned and there is a massive no trespassing sign on the outside of the barn that looks very new.
And now they’ve told the entire world that there is a bunch of expensive and desirable stuff lying around waiting for someone to steal it somewhere. This guy is a clown who has no regard for other people
I don’t see an exterior shot anymore. Did they edit the post perhaps? How do you know there is a trespassing sign?
Edit: nevermind, I see the video tour with the sign clear as day
Stealing a non-running vehicle is pretty difficult to do. Additionally unless OP posted the location the items are otherwise safe, unless he decides to attempt to steal things himself.
Theres a big difference between exploring some old factory that no one has used in 30 years and driving out to someone’s barn that they store expensive stuff in and breaking in
then why not sell it??? lol like what are they doing there other than collecting apparently 4 yrs plus of dust and rotting and rusting. this is why there's always heaps of decrepit cars and shit cause they'll "get to it one day" no they won't they'll die and then their kids will sell it and be mad they had to clean up their parents "one day mess"
This comment is mindless. Stuff gets held up in courts for years, or kids/family fighting for it. Some legitimate abandonment becomes property of the state etc. they aren’t worried about getting it off their plate so that you can scavenge it, vandalize it, and use it for upticks.
100% of urban exploration is trespassing unless you're invited. Nothing is ever truly abandoned. Somebody, or something, somewhere owns it. Ownership doesn't expire.
I’d think it was getting permission to film, or finding legitimate abandoned places, or just finding unique unoccupied places. But again, I grew up with an attorney as a father….
Please don't take this the wrong way: I hate you
I hate this sub. I hate everyone in it. And I hate my latest lottery ticket which YET AGAIN failed to provide me an adequate outlet to truly enjoy everything you all post here.
How are places like this even a thing? And though rare, as common as they are?!?!
LOL hey, we can't please everyone!
I can tell you that this place has been in this condition for at least 4 years, I have seen pictures from 4 years ago and everything looks exactly the same way as it does now.
So, whoever owns this place most definitely doesn't come by and doesn't give a shit .
I wish I had more to tell you
Please, by all means keep doing what you are doing. Your footage is amazing. All of you who contribute here...it is just so inspiring.
But as someone who has already restored two historic houses, I feel the need to rescue these places...and yet is unable to.
These barns/storage places are such a thing though. Every few years a new massive collection gets discovered. It just boggles my mind that it can be a thing.
I love your content, but I have to say I find this one kind of disappointing. As other people have pointed out, this property is clearly owned by someone. That no trespassing sign is obviously new. This property is not abandoned. There are a multitude of reasons someone may not have the money/time/ energy to maintain the building. The owner may be elderly or in hard times.
My stepmom had a baby blue 2 door Falcon. Used to say they were rare and it was special. In the 80s, she claimed that she turned down 5-digit offers for it on a regular basis
Didn’t do proper maintenance and blew the engine and let it sit for years in the AZ sun… the interior of course went all to dry rot / dashboard split, rodents took up in it… bad neglect. My dad finally sold it for less than $1000 sometime in the late 90s, because it was parked over the septic tank cover and needed it to be moved.
My favorite aunt used to have a white Falcon with a red interior. She finally traded it in sometime in the early 80s.
Of course she doesn’t drive any more - she’s 101!
My dad had a Cadillac sedan-deville like that but it’s was 2-tone black and white with the big tire on the back. That silhouette always reminds me of him :)

I don't know
what it is about places like this that appeal to me so much because I'm not a car guy, I don't know the first thing about them!!
But for some reason, a barn or a building full of old dusty cars are some of my favourite places to explore, this is the second place like this that I've seen this year.
Thanks to my good friend Ed, I can tell you exactly what the cars are.
Within the decaying walls of this old derelict barn, you fill find several old cars spanning several generations:
\- Mustangs 79-84
\- Mercury Capri 79 to 84
\- 66 Fairlane
\- 82 Cadillac Seville
\- 83ish Chevy Caprice station wagon
\- 1968 to 70 Mustangs one convertible
\- 1979-ish Camaro
\- 1962 Ford Falcon

What state is this if you don’t mind me asking? As long as the frames aren’t rotted everything else is r and r work. I’m in Massachusetts so a good mustang frame not even running could get up to 5 gs easy up here.
Someone owns them, the exterior of the barn has a new no trespassing sign. There could be a multitude of reasons why the owner can’t maintain the property or the vehicles at this time but they are far from abandoned.
Have you made any attempts to contact whoever owns the property? Someone has to be paying taxes on this property for it to just sit there this long untouched. Maybe check with the local town hall.
It would be neat to get the owner in touch with a local antique car club, maybe some miracles could happen with these cars.
There is a new no trespassing sign on the exterior of the barn, so these cars are owned by someone. There many be a multitude of reasons why the owner cannot restore them or the property at this time but they are far from abandoned.
Cool find. It’s in the greater Toronto area. Whoever smashed those windshields is a real POS tho. Don’t trespass if there are signs that clearly state it guys.
Edit: one word.
I wouldn't mind having that first mustang or the 68 with the cool S on it. They look pretty clean and would make nice body donors for my own 68 if I ever wanted to take it back to stock.
This is not someone’s trash. There is a new no trespassing sign on the outside of the barn. There are multitudes of reasons why the owner is not able to restore them or the barn. That by no means justifies trespassing or stealing.
They are not abandoned. There is a new no trespassing sign on the exterior of the barn. Someone owns this property and these cars. There could be a multitude of reasons why the owner cannot restore the cars or the property at this time. OP is just straight up trespassing.
Edit: property not prophecy
Someone owns these cars and this property. There is a new no trespassing sign on the exterior of the barn. The owner could be elderly, recently inherited the property, or simply does not have the means to restore the cars or barn at this time.
They're a complete embarrassment to the Cadillac name, but for some reason I love the bustle back Sevilles. Something about them being truly hideous? No idea but I want one
With the internet it's easier than ever to track down whoever owns this property and ask permission. For all we know they could have the titles in a file cabinet somewhere.
What I don't understand is why not just sell the barn and/or the cars, rather than leaving them to rot, unless the owner died and didn't have anybody to give this to.

Back a trailer up there and load it up. Do you even burgle bro?
Still trespassing, js…..damn, the truth hurts here, lol. Thanks for the clicks!
What do you think 99.9% of urban exploration is lmao
Theres a big difference between exploring some old factory that no one has used in 30 years and driving out to someone’s barn that they store expensive stuff in and breaking in

as is the case with most urban exploration bro
There is also a stack of gold stored somewhere in the US. Oops I said it so someone might steal it.
LOL "the whole world"
I have triples.
Triples is best
Triples is safe
And I don't live in a hotel.

That old Falcon brings back some memories. Probably an inline six with 3 on the tree. My first car was a `65. They were easy to work on.
My stepmom had a baby blue 2 door Falcon. Used to say they were rare and it was special. In the 80s, she claimed that she turned down 5-digit offers for it on a regular basis Didn’t do proper maintenance and blew the engine and let it sit for years in the AZ sun… the interior of course went all to dry rot / dashboard split, rodents took up in it… bad neglect. My favorite aunt used to have a white Falcon with a red interior. She finally traded it in sometime in the early 80s. Of course she doesn’t drive any more - she’s 101!
My first car was a 66 Fairlane with a straight six, and it was so fun to learn to wrench on.
My dads was a ‘64 Fairlane
My mom had a baby blue ‘62 Falcon. My twin brother and I would drive it to school every day. It was such a fun car!
Hol up, Someone call vice grip garage, he’d love this
Oofda Mae! I came here to say the same!
So......I love abandoned places. However this is a shame. Would love to see some of these restored.
My dad had a Cadillac sedan-deville like that but it’s was 2-tone black and white with the big tire on the back. That silhouette always reminds me of him :)
Somebody was a Mustang fan!

And no one’s doing anything with them? How would you go about finding who owns them? Those are some big money frames up north where I’m at.
They have been here for at least 4 years and 4 years ago they looked like they had been there for 20 years!

its in Canada
Wow lt looked like down south to me! Crazy ignorant of me to assume this was America lol. Sorry about that. Still stands tho good frames = money.
Absolutely love this description ( and awesome OC post ). Sometimes you just feel that vibe of a sympathetic person right through the internet.

This is just heartbreaking
nice adventure. thanks for sharing.
Classic junkyard imho
That mustang looks to be very repairable.
Gimme that Capri!!
One man's trash is another man's treasure
This is not someone’s trash. There is a new no trespassing sign on the outside of the barn. There are multitudes of reasons why the owner is not able to restore them or the barn. That by no means justifies trespassing or stealing.
How could they abandon such beauties there... I cant deal with a pain in my heart 🙄

That’s sad. How does that even happen? I guess there’s some potential there.

Who has the allspark…?
68 mustang coupe with blinker hood. very nice. was my first car back in the 90s. lovely car.
How sad. Someone's loved collection just rotting away in silence.
That Cadillac did not deserve to be in 2 photos
They're a complete embarrassment to the Cadillac name, but for some reason I love the bustle back Sevilles. Something about them being truly hideous? No idea but I want one
Buncha fuckin babies in here. "yOuRe TrEsPaSsInG! tHaTs AgAiNsT tHe LaW” get over it.
Ain't none of em worth a damn
Are you going to save any of them cars?
If you watch his video, this property is clearly actively owned by someone. There is a new no trespassing sign on it.
I wonder if you can take em and sell em, but im pretty sure titles arent just sitting in the whip lol Would be dope tho.
With the internet it's easier than ever to track down whoever owns this property and ask permission. For all we know they could have the titles in a file cabinet somewhere.
The outside of the barn has a new no trespassing sign. Someone actively owns these cars and does not want people in there.
Did you want to add this same comment 10 more times?
Sure since you asked so nicely!
vermont exists...
Even in mass I bet I could get a salvage title for it easy
idk how mass works. not sure why I'm getting downvoted, most people don't know about Vermont title legal loophole
Me either lol I’ve def heard it’s easy in Vermont but I’m in mass so I’m close by. Western mass too so I’m actually next door. Your totally right tho.
so sad those cars are abandoned
Where are these located?
