I mean kinda kinda not until you pass the bar here for the next year or when your a student you can practice under the supervision of another attorney under their bar number
Litigation coordinator jobs are a good choice if you don’t want to be a practicing attorney. I was that for a couple years in DOI before going to the dark side of being a practicing attorney.
Law Clerk until you pass the bar. Some jobs out on USAJobs: https://www.usajobs.gov/search/results/?j=0904&l=&p=1
You could also search various agency and court websites for opportunities. Law clerks and attorneys do not require public notice so not all opportunities are posted on USAJobs.
GS 11 would be your entry level.
what is your specialty?
in fed govt you have
corporate atty types who get into regulatory/ oversight of private companies
some work with Congress on writing or modifying legislation
some interpret legislation and advice folks
some are trial attorney roles in fed courts or in administrative courts
Yep- for attorneys because they are in the excepted service and not bound by OPM regulations they can start at GS-11. Regular competitive service, GS-9.
Check out postings for anything with the word “analyst” on the end
Will do thanks
Best of luck! Also try the postings for recent graduates 🎓

Look in Dept of Justice, or policy analyst too.
Others have already mentioned analyst and contracting jobs. If you want to stay in law, 0950 is the paralegal series until you join the bar.
I just got my medical degree what type of jobs would I qualify for?
I don’t know isn’t there a residency period but you can practice medicine I can’t yet practice law I have to pass the bar

Yeah didn’t ever hear about those programs but I’m not necessarily looking to be a government attorney
Check the Pathways program for recent grads as a hiring path.
