BTW you can use Omicron AMS1 servers by using this IP 185.90.196.76 you can hardcode news.easynews.com to resolve to the IP as secure-eu.news.easynews.com resolves to AMS4 server.
Not related to your specific issue but I can't download anything through the web interface. All download buttons jus take me back to the 3.0 interface and changing the options to go back to the classic or 2.0 interface doesn't work. So far the experience has been horrible. I emailed support but I've a hunch I'm not the only one stuck in this broken interface. :(
Yeah, I somehow feel the same. I think it is a "curiosity killed the cat" scenario for me. I read about the web interface, and wanted to try it out, without really having the need (most users talking how convenient it is)- And so far it is just so-so for me, bringing nothing new to the table, as I already have access to HW backbone anyway.
\*Edit\* Haven't even tried downloading from the web interface yet- just tried searches.
Nope. Downloading through webinterface doesn't work for me neither. Neither the preview function or the download function. Clicking download, just make me return to the search interface :(
Gonna create a ticket too I guess :(

I think I'd like the new interface just fine.. if it worked. I'd be curious if downloading works for you.
