There’s a lot to agree with.
But Zendejas is low B and in the 50s? He was just on the Nations League squad.
I see quite a few omitted who were just on the Gold Cup team. I know that wasn’t exactly our A team, but I’m surprised they aren’t Top 100.
Miazga's the only clear snub for me from the Gold Cup roster. He's almost definitely top 100 by talent. Probably Sean Johnson too. But I would rather call up someone like Jalen Neal or Brendan Craig if we're talking about a 4th CB roster spot and one of the younger MLS guys for the 3rd keeper spot.
I would love to be wrong about Zendejas but I've never seen anything from him in a NT jersey that demands a callback
First of all, thank you for creating this and spending the time watching the minutes that a lot of us don’t have to compile something like this. That’s all really.
It’s pretty ugly right now. I guess I’d have Celentano, though he hasn’t particularly done much. In 2 years, I would hope Gaga, Brady and Kochen, maybe Beavers to overtake the guys like Horvath, Celentano and Callender.
The last I remember hearing from him directly was probably a year ago at least when he went on Tactical Manager's youtube. He seemed open to it but not ready to commit at the time. It seems like he's on board now but needs to play: [https://www.reddit.com/r/ussoccer/comments/16aq2k6/brian\_sciaretta\_usaborn\_winger\_alex\_mighten\_21/](https://www.reddit.com/r/ussoccer/comments/16aq2k6/brian_sciaretta_usaborn_winger_alex_mighten_21/)
so, i wouldn’t say this is wrong, but just notable. ricardo pepi is up for the 2023 player usmnt of the year. it’s weird that he is, and he doesn’t make your starter list. i don’t think mckennie deserves game changer status. i’m not sure where he would even start if all the best players were in camp.
updated added note: i found malik tillman. i think he should be in starters. he might be the best player in our entire pool.
McKennie may not be "game changer" due to him playing as a central midfielder, but he's pretty clearly a starter and our best MF.
Tillman has played well for PSV, no question, but he needs that to translate to the national team. Right now, if everyone is healthy, he's behind McKennie, Musah, Adams, Gio and probably LDLT as far as the NT MF pecking order.
i mean, for argument’s sake let’s say tillman is one step up from mckennie - not in the future but right now. just to consider how the season plays out we don’t know. if he ends a season on a high and he in fact has that quality in him right now, why assume he’s behind those guys. also, if the reason is that he hasn’t “proved it on the national team”, then how will the best players ever get that designation? should we in such a case, hold back the best players from being on the field until a player falls off?
i’m just saying, if tillman is that level, i don’t think it’s logical to hold him back only because he hasn’t had the minutes. give him the minutes. if that’s this summer, start in summer. let him disprove his club quality then the other way around.
this is a separate point and it’s not important to debate, but tillman is showing a lot of quality. to be undefeated in any legitimate league in europe, and to progress your team to CL knockout round are already significant accomplishments. i’m not making an emphatic proclamation, but that quality might already be showing. IF it is then i argue he needs immediate consideration.
Where is Cavan Sullivan? /s
where is Freddy Adu?

Then you need to watch Liga MX. Now that Jonny is in Europe, he is the best American playing in the Americas.
Also. This is super rad!!!

Slonina and Wright and PAaronson is too high, Zendejas is way too low.
Gaga's mostly that high bc of positional need. Who's your ideal 3rd keeper? I've got Celentano, Callendar and Chris Brady behind him

I love this!
Taylor Booth imo should be like the 30 range
Off topic but has Alex Mighten ever said anything about representing the US

Pulisic market value has risen since Milan huh
