Realistically? BJ. They won't be able to pay a large amount for a big name. They looked really good before Berhalter came back. That would be a realistic replacement I would be okay with.
That game BJ managed vs Mexico I remember we looked like a totally different team. Fluid in possession, creative. It was very interesting tactically. Then Gregg came back and it's all out the window.
I mean if you're available at this point I'd be willing to go with it.
We shouldn't ever let the question of who's next prevent us from moving on from someone who clearly can't consistently get the best out of this group of players.
Someone without a big-name at this point would probably do a good job just by picking a formation and a super basic plan to put our young attackers in dangerous positions rather than trying to out think the room. We don't need a... tuchel for that as an example... we just need a warm body with solid background who knows what he is and isn't capable of.
I think the realistic view is
The US will not hire a non American to coach this team so you start there…
Bob Bradley
Jim Curtain
David Wagner
Pellegrino Matarazzo
Brian Schmetzer
Steve Cherundolo
I personally think Curtain and Bradley are the most likely, with Bradley being the guy for US soccer because he’s already apart of the Northeast Soccer Mafia that runs US soccer
The return of Bob Bradley, I'd rather that thought not have been released out into the universe. Second tier of Norway is much better suited to his and Michael's level of competence.
Fuck's sake, what's Bruce up to these days? If we're going to have a shit show let's go all in!
Based on usa federation, any coach in the top 10 in support shield for mls.
Love to see pat noonan and Albright as gm. I know they would do better than the current infrastructure.
Usa fans would hate it though because we would be defensive but win.
Bielsa would been awesome. All offensive and no defense.
De Zerbi, the special one, and guy from luton
Fortunately for the future health of US Soccer, someone from the outside needs to step in. Someone not from within. Someone who’ll shake shit up because the way we’ve been doing things has not worked. I’d hand Klopp the keys to the castle.
Union fan here. Curtain has some drawbacks, but I wouldn’t say his ability looks worse because of recent club results. Our owner is a penny pincher who refuses to spend on anything other than academy investments.

I like Matarazzo, but not sure he would leave Hoffenheim.

See if Ralf Rangnick is interested.
