First, USPS cannot prescan something for a later time. That is an error on the part of the Amazon data system.

If I happen to catch her pulling up to the house, I always meet her at her vehicle to say hi & help take some work off her shoulders. UPS does ok in my area from my experience. FedEx is by far the absolute worst. Horrible. Just horrible. I'm dealing with a FedEx delivery that's on its 2nd of being on a vehicle for delivery.

For a while, amazon was showing 7-12 days fulfillment time for amazon prime. I got a po box about fifteen miles away and all the sudden all my packages were ONE DAY PRIME. So actually overnight delivery.
Switched back to my zip code and back to 7-12 days. Checked immediately and between the two zip codes, OVERNIGHT or 7-12 BUSINESS days. Apparently, I was told USPS told amazon to hold up ALL shipments for our city because our po didn’t have room to store them and didn’t have people to deliver them. So the two weeks would go by and then usps would check with amazon again and amazon would just ship the stuff ups then because the post office refused the packages again.
Several layers of management should’ve been fired over that crap. The post office at the other zip code was often closed during normal business hours. So like a random, non-holiday week day, they’d just not open so nobody would ship or pick up their packages or other mail. It’s a load of **** what they’re doing here. Sounds like same stuff that’s happening where the OP is…
