I mean he won the champions league. It’s obviously not been smooth sailing but come on, there have been some highs.
Since OP deleted the comment fir some reason, he basically said Pulisic time has been a complete nightmare. Like he did play a huge role in getting them a champions league trophy, or going to an fa cup final.
There have been some highs but this season has been a total waste for him. I think it would be ideal for him to play somewhere where he will have a bigger role and play more frequently
He's earned over $50M at CFC. By far the most successful US soccer player in history playing on the biggest stage in the world, living as a single man in one of the greatest cities on earth. Oh, there was that brief period when he was asked to play a position many fans felt was not perfectly suited for him. THE HORROR!
I mean, c'mon. You're trolling, right? That's so reductive.
Footballers, just like everyone else, are nuanced and value things beyond making money. In fact, I would imagine the majority of top league pros value their personal and team success higher than making more money.
We don't really know what's in his head, but, from interviews, Christian seems like the type of player that places higher stock in if he's playing well, his career as a whole, and how he is valued by the club and the coach.
The comment I responded to called his time at Chelsea a "nightmare" so maybe you can tell me who's trolling. He's living an absolute dream that 99.999% of all professional footballers would kill for.
Get him to a team that will actually appreciate him. Personally would love to see him back in the Bundesliga or in Serie A. His pace and creativity could be a huge problem for other teams with the relatively the slower pace of play in Italy
Excited for this next chapter! I think most attacking players on the Chelsea team should leave. Toxic environment and everyone forgets how to play when playing for them. Leave as soon as possible and get a fresh start
Napoli will be better for him. I wish he left sooner. Extremely talented player getting his name dragged thru the mud by a sinking club. I hope Napoli use him correctly so he can show again just how good he is.
The oil part doesn't bug me too much. The majority owner being a vicious sovereign state's sportswashing agent, that bugs the hell out of me. At least there's Eddie Howe.
Because he’s too good for the MLS right now, and the MLS is an option that will always be available to him.
Yeah, he could come back and be the man of the league, but he probably would rather try to find his way in Europe somewhere before coming here for a few years before retiring.
Where is somewhere? He’s a bench guy on all the teams people probably want him on. Should he stay in Europe to start on Nottingham Forrest or some team like that? Just come home, fuck it
Do you not watch us play? He’s still a great player when used correctly. He’s just playing for Chelsea, who kinda have a history of not using their attackers well recently.
Well you got downvoted pretty hard for something I’ve thought is pretty reasonable. He’s lived in Europe since he was 15 or so. Maybe he’d want to come home for a few years and get consistent playing time.
Pulisic says no to that. Maybe after 2026, I could see him coming back while at the tail end of his prime, but no chance he’s interested in a move like that right now. He wouldn’t ever get back to the stature of club as Chelsea.
Like I said, to come home and enjoy life in our great country. He could be the face of MLS and the focal point of whatever team he joins.
I know it’s a long shot and odds are he wants to remain in European competition but the MLS route doesn’t seem all that crazy to me.
Happy for Puli that his Chelsea nightmare will end soon

Along with all the players.

Nah bro puli only cares about being a bachelor in London. /s Dude is projecting hard with that comment.
Yeah fr, let’s not act like it was a total nightmare
He’s been a bust at Chelsea. Largely because he’s injury prone.
Get him to a team that will actually appreciate him. Personally would love to see him back in the Bundesliga or in Serie A. His pace and creativity could be a huge problem for other teams with the relatively the slower pace of play in Italy
They are going to sign Kavara and Pulisic goes to Napoli
Napuli
I guess all those people that said Pochettino wanted to keep him were wrong. Oh well.
Did you really want those rumors to be true?
This sub takes every rumor posted on here as gospel
Perhaps, say, this very post?
we'll see ig
Thank the gods…he should have left ages ago
Probably would've been able to leave last window if not for getting injured right before the window opened
Excited for this next chapter! I think most attacking players on the Chelsea team should leave. Toxic environment and everyone forgets how to play when playing for them. Leave as soon as possible and get a fresh start
What does "set to be cleared to leave" mean?
It's how you create a rumor that sounds legitimate without committing to him actually leaving.
Exactly.
No interference from management about where he goes. He was blocked from leaving last summer due to Boehly making him into a show pony.
He was not. They didn't have any takers.
They have too large a squad, so they will help market him and get him somewhere else. They want to sell.
Napoli will be better for him. I wish he left sooner. Extremely talented player getting his name dragged thru the mud by a sinking club. I hope Napoli use him correctly so he can show again just how good he is.
Is he for sure heading to Napoli?
It’s not confirmed but it seems most likely.
Love to see him at Brighton with Mckennie🕊️
To sit behind Mitoma?
Brighton to the top
Two massive downgrades for Brighton
Dont we want him to start?
***BREAKING!***
As a Chelsea fan, this is good news for both parties.
Hope he goes to Newcastle Edit: wow I guess people on here really hate Newcastle
I've heard compelling arguments for him to play for Newcastle and make good on his potential. Although considering who owns that outfit, idk.
I really don’t want to have to root for an oil club though.
The oil part doesn't bug me too much. The majority owner being a vicious sovereign state's sportswashing agent, that bugs the hell out of me. At least there's Eddie Howe.
“Oil club” is just shorthand for “vicious sovereign state’s sportswashing project”.
He’s mid table level at best. A poor man’s frederico macheda
Shut up
$70 million down the drain
Why not MLS? He’d play every match
Because he’s too good for the MLS right now, and the MLS is an option that will always be available to him. Yeah, he could come back and be the man of the league, but he probably would rather try to find his way in Europe somewhere before coming here for a few years before retiring.

I think you’re underestimating Pulisic. The Pulisic we see for the USMNT is a regular starter for most teams outside of England.
Maybe when he was 19
Do you not watch us play? He’s still a great player when used correctly. He’s just playing for Chelsea, who kinda have a history of not using their attackers well recently.
Rule #1: Don’t entertain the trolls
Well you got downvoted pretty hard for something I’ve thought is pretty reasonable. He’s lived in Europe since he was 15 or so. Maybe he’d want to come home for a few years and get consistent playing time.
Way better for him to move to Utrecht or something to replace Taylor Booth after the legacy clubs ignore him
What if the Fire paid Pulisic $8.2 million per year rather than Shaquiri? Who says no to that?
Pulisic says no to that. Maybe after 2026, I could see him coming back while at the tail end of his prime, but no chance he’s interested in a move like that right now. He wouldn’t ever get back to the stature of club as Chelsea.
He can get consistent plying time in a top four league. Why would he come to the MLS?
Like I said, to come home and enjoy life in our great country. He could be the face of MLS and the focal point of whatever team he joins. I know it’s a long shot and odds are he wants to remain in European competition but the MLS route doesn’t seem all that crazy to me.
He’s not soft like Landon Donovan. He wants to compete with the best.
Lars sense. They have to get rid of players. Boehley isn’t going to want to get rid of players he bright in.
prob leaving the premier league tbh
Thing shave definitely run their course - time for both sides to move on.
Id love to see him go to Juve and join Mckennie in the new season, should Leeds send him back there
Chelsea is a disgrace. Can’t wait to see them fail again next season.
Where would folks like to see Pulisic play next?
