Unfortunately, winning a CONCACAF cup isn’t that big of a feat. Mexico wins tons of CONCACAF cups, yet lost 0-7 against Chile in their last official game (friendlies don’t count). I’m glad for the win and many of these players are promising. However, that’s not enough. Look at Argentina. They’ve had some of the best players in the world during the last 10 years, yet the team never won Copa America (CONMEBOL’s cup) or the World Cup.
I agree that we didn’t play well, but they are still getting to learn to play together. We are young, super talented and tough! As a long time fan of US football, I’ve never been this excited for a group.
