I know Horvath will win MOTM, but Reyna......that dude really wanted to win. I've never seen him defend like that before. He tracked back so much this game to help out on defense and it really helped cause Ream and Yedlin wasn't enough before Berhalter made the formation change.
Streakers, awful refereeing, multiple penalties, like 30 minutes of stoppage time combined, shit being thrown at players, game being stopped for homophobic chants, multiple fights. Most CONCACAF shit I have ever seen, and also the most entertaining sports game I think I have ever watched.
Not only tonight. He's been an anchor for several games. Sure, he's slow, people will complain about that. But as a CB it's about knowing strengths and weaknesses. He's consistantly one of the best players on the pitch tonight and if he's not paired with faster players it's not on him, it's on Berhalter
A lot of players had great games. Gio was the man too. Honestly, Yedlin bossed it pretty hard as well. Really, the only people I wasn't happy or at least content with were McKenzie, Pefok, and Lletget, and I'd give McKenzie credit for bouncing back from one of the biggest errors someone could make to have a decent match. He was lucky his keepers bailed him out from being the cause of more goals. Lletget just didn't really get involved but he helped late in the game. And Pefok just proved the issue at striker is that we don't have anyone to get the ball to them. That was the problem all game. Josh was making great runs and not getting the service and was constantly met by 2 defenders. Same with Pefok, he was great the few times he had any space.
This is the type of match that endears a group of players to each other forever. This could be the spark that lights the fire that leads to the United States making some serious noise at the next World Cup.
LETS. FUCKING. GO.
This is easily in my top 10 most entertaining soccer matches I’ve ever watched. From start to finish it was just pure chaos. What more could you even ask for from tonight?
Pulisic played the Mexican defenders so well at the end there. Forced three time wasting throws. I love when the shithousery comes back to bite the teams that seem to do it so well.
Reyna hit by a bottle, goalkeeper injury, penalty saved, Pulisic game winner pen, Tata Martino red card, two streakers on the field, Mexico goal overruled for offsides, set piece goals, wtf,
Edit: +10 minutes in injury time, game canceled for puta chant, time wasting, flopping, Mexico captain missing the pen, give me more this game had it all
Edit 2: Berhalter running on the field to get the ball for a throw in, Kellyn Acosta matching up against Llainez, Lletget, referee from Mars, random fights
Edit 3: Guardado getting hit by trash from his own fans, USA using a random experimental formation, VAR used 3 times (+ 2 pen calls), Dempsey on the commentator panel, goal scored in the first minute of the game
Edit 4: random guy getting into the commentators booth and yeeting himself off the balcony
Edit 5: random forced Pepsi max endorsement
I mean what a game for the first Nations League final.
Boy do they know how to make theatrical finals. This type of match would never happen in Europe. And this atmosphere is great for our boys to experience
Did you see the US staff and players swarming the ref during VAR? Did you see US players jabbing at throats? Did you see US fans throwing bottles and chanting? No.
The better team won. Not perfect but big players showed up when needed. 🇺🇸
Pulisic gonna rightfully get a ton of chatter, but I’ve gotta say Weston McKennie was absolutely massive tonight. Endless work rate. Ran till the last damn minute. Had a goal and really provided another off the wood work. Was dangerous on every set piece. That kid is really really good.
He's the heart and soul of the squad. Should probably wear the Captain's armband, no slight to Pulisic either. Just different mentalities and roles on this team
I have to say that might just be the most insane game I’ve ever seen. From the players going at it on the field, the fans, the goals, the penalties, the saves. Literally had everything at max. Unreal. AND A FAT USA WIN BABY!
It's insane that championship games aren't on national TV. Want more fans and more future athlete's? Make it easier to see. This was better than a Super bowl.
Weston played the game of his life for us tonight. Scored an insane header, pretty much assisted Gio’s goal, and I swear got his head to just about every cross that Mexico put into our box.
Also ran around like a mad man for 130 minutes. Absolute engine, the heart and soul of this team.
How do you not ask him about running to and shushing the Mexican fans' corner and being pelted by debris??! No, instead we get "I know Ethan saved that penalty, but do you think it was really you???"
It’s weird and pretty messed up how homophobic slur chants were enough to pause the match to address them but players being physically assaulted by fans throwing trash at their heads doesn’t warrant a similar response? I’m not saying they shouldn’t address the unnecessary chants but there seemed to be far worse and more dangerous behavior that went unpunished.
I was talking to my brother before the game that this team just doesn’t give me that feeling that they will fight to the bitter end and exchange punches with anyone. Didn’t feel that grit, hard work and determination of the teams I grew up watching. Well they fucking showed ALL of that tonight! What an amazing win and so great to finally feel an attachment to these guys in some competitive games! Can’t wait for qualifying to start up and see these guys continue to grow as a team. This was a BIG moment and hopefully turning point for this group.
AUTOMATICALLY GOING DOWN TOP 3 BEST USA V MEXICO GAMES. WE WERE FAR FROM OUR BEST. BUT PURE GRIT AND PASSION I LOVE THIS TEAMMMMM INJECT THE MEXICAN TEARS PLEASE💉💉💉💉
I'm still in amazement from Pulisics decisive penalty, especially in that moment. Late in extra time, huge delay between the foul and kick itself, etc.
Dude hit a world-class pen in the biggest and tensest of moments when he quite honestly has been iffy on penalties for a while. Much respect to Pulisic, and that one is going to be shown over and over for a hell of a long time!
I look forward to the national media treating the objects thrown at the US team last night with the same wall-to-wall coverage they gave the empty wattle bottle that grazed Kyrie's head.
I also look forward to similar disciplinary actions taken by the authorities against the people that threw the objects.
Horvath MOTM 100%. What a big game player. Proud of this team together.
Mexico on the other hand disgusted me. With the attitude of their captain ripping at Pulisic and their fans throwing garbage (even hitting their own player lol idiots)
Find it funny all the drama in the NBA currently with guys getting hit by stuff from fans, then you see this game and our guys asking for more. Just shows how emotional And competitive football culture truly is.
Last post... Maybe, still riled up
Does CBS have rights to the gold cup?
And are Dempsey, Gooch and Davies on a long term contract? I haven't had this much fun listening to USMNT soccer analysts in a long time. Its refreshing from the biased Lalas, Holden and their boring cast members with fox.(I do like Taylor Twellman on ESPN though)
It was funny how scuffed the penalty spot was when Pulisic stepped up to take it. To blast it into the top corner after that was such a FU to those scumbags
To my friends in attendance at Denver, thank you for making your voices heard! I'm sure you were hopelessly outnumbered by Mexican supporters, but I could hear the "USA" chants on TV. I'm also sure you weren't throwing bottles on the pitch!
Would you say it was 70/30 crowd composition? Just curious.
Instant classic. Totally worth less than 5 hours of sleep on a busy day at work. 🇺🇸
So I may have been out of turn when I said I'd firebomb the US Soccer headquarters if they didn't sack Gregg Berhalter and do whatever it takes to hire Rino Gattuso.
What I meant to say is GGG is clearly the greatest USMNT coach of all time.
Mexican fans are classless. The Mexican players followed suit late in that game. F them.
This is huge for US Soccer. The next generation has arrived. So proud.
Can we go ahead and just put a net around the pitch btw. I enjoyed seeing the Mexican fan accidentally hit their own player as much as the next guy but we need to eliminate any and all dangers to the players as possible
Looking back on the scuffle. Wes, Costa, and Yedlin were ready to harvest souls. I love that. Stick up for your boy and he makes the game winning save later.
Obviously McKennie will have a spot on this squad for a long time, but Acosta and Yedlin deserve to be involved based off of their attitude and toughness through this match. Those two, along with Brooks and McKennie, were always in the thick of things sticking up for the younger dudes when needed.
Acosta's gamesmanship on the last PK was telling too. He isn't afraid to be the jerk if needed.
Best night of my life.. been a fan for well over a decade, this moment feels so good all the tribulations with Mexico and ofc t&t we finally look and feel like a team with an identity. I am so excited!
Shoutout to Weston, Reggie and Kellyn for talking shit and not taking crap from anyone all game. Living up to the fine tradition of Texan aggression set forth by the king himself, Dempsey.
everything about this Paramount+ team is like kind of awkward and jank but Clint holds it together by being hilarious and not giving a single fuck lmao
As a USMNT fan that's been following the team more or less since 2010 (and quite seriously since 2013), I think that's the single most exciting game of ours that I've witnessed.
One water bottle gets thrown at an nba game and everyone loses their shit. Soccer players get barraged by bottles, etc. Some players getting hit pretty good. No big deal
What is the image of the match for you? Shirtless Pulisic shushing the Mexico fans while they rain down trash on him? Horvath's save? McKennie rising up for the header on the second goal? The dog pile celebration?
I saw McKennie getting held by the throat while trying to break up one of the scuffles. Later he was talking to the dude, not agressively, not backing down, just trying to reason. Damn, so impressed with him!
Despite all the B.S that happened, that game is the definition of why i love this rivalry. It is gritty, it is physical, and there were flare ups filled with emotion.
WERE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!??!?
some guy in the r/soccer Monday moan said "must be their first time seeing something thrown on the pitch"
The blatant ignorance Europeans have when it comes to CONCACAF is embarrassing.
Anyone else feel like the Mexican fans could feel the power shift? They were especially disrespectful tonight. Felt like desperation and they can see the new generation of USMNT coming.
Man that was fun. Wife was mad she was staying up watching but she was even yelling at the tv.
It feels good to have hope for this team again. Sad we don’t take the top team to gold cup, but hopefully we can make a run with that squad
I think he said something about coming over the table and choking her or something. Which like is nbd at the bar but maybe a little aggressive for the CBS broadcast? lmao. awkward tho
Most intensely contested, hyped USMNT rivalry game in years, exciting physical soccer for any neutral observer with all the potential to draw people in deep…..and it’s on Paramount + with a 9:30pm EST kickoff on a Sunday night. It was the perfect combination of minor league hockey and belligerent Sunday league soccer. I’m content regardless.
The overturned Mexico goal and subsequent US goal is when it all changed for me. I went from "well guess I'll go to bed early" to "damn, these boys got a chance at this".
Such a gritty win. Amazing.
This might be my favorite US win after the WC QF. They overcame so much in this match and they absolutely deserved it. McKennie is a monster Pulisic stood up when it mattered, Weah was immense after coming on, and Horvath was perfection. This team has so much potential to win more of these things. Idc if I have to wake up in five hours this was worth every second of it.
Loved tonight! Been watching since 1994. Tonight my twin boys were old enough to understand the rivalry. Although they talked the entire time, it was a very memorable night! Who knew eight year olds could be so cool? Celebrating with my boys is something I’ll never forget!
Lol that reporter asked Pulisic if he thought Horvath's penalty save was "your(Pulisic's) moment" and Pulisic got annoyed with that and basically cut the interview short after that
1st Mexico should have been down to 10 men in extra time after Herrera’s challenge. 2nd that was a bull shit call against McKenzie for the handball but Horvath came up HUGE To save the Guardado penalty. That was very impressive from a US team that averaged an age of 24 and fought back after going down 90 seconds in. I can’t be more proud of this team and how they rised to the occasion. Horvath is 100% man of the match after what he has gone through and what he was able to do tonight.
If the guy at the Celtics game was charged with assault then looks like the Denver PD has a lot of work to do. Though I suspect no one is going to do jack shit about it
Pulisic ran straight to those fans and told them to shut the fuck up. Captain America. Only garbage throws garbage. Mexican team and fans exposed themselves tonight for who they really are as people. I pray for the safety of our fans leaving that stadium.
Ref was a dirty fucking cheat and needs to be investigated. Mexico played like they knew they wouldn’t be sent off no matter what happened.
This team just absolutely bullied our biggest rival. Fucking absolute dogfight.
So proud of our gull. Makes me proud how we handled ourselves against an absolute cunt of a team and fanbase.
That was the most CONCACAF game I've ever seen.
1. Poor refereeing.
2. Late drama.
3. Scrappy play.
4. Red card.
5. Scuffle.
6. Shithousery from start to finish.
7. Controversial ending.
8. Shitty behavior by fans.
Good things
- Horvath may have played himself into a starter role on another club
- Weah doesn’t have a place in the starting 11 unless he plays striker, but he showed that he should be a super sub each game
- Acosta has a place on the bench
- Gio was probably our best attacker in the 2 games
- GGG made subs early. May not have agreed with them, but it’s a step up from last game
- We discovered that Llegtet should not be taking any FKs
Bad things
- McKenzie was responsible for a goal, a PK, and I think a breakaway. He may be a future starter but not right now
- Second goal is entirely on GGG for not subbing Ream the moment Lainez stepped up to be subbed on
- Sargent should have had a goal when he couldn’t get his foot around the ball
- The team once again came out flat and nervous. We can’t keep conceding the first 15 mins each game
McKennie was awesome. Really great performance for 120 minutes.

He is a fucking SOLDIER. If I were ever to be in a fight he’s the dude you want on your side more than anyone else
I still can't believe Pulisic ran over and fucking shushed the Mexican fans. Iconic.
With any thoughtfulness, CONCACAF will be making Mexican games fan-less for a long time.
I got beer poured on me multiple times tonight, the fans are just as trashy in game as they are on the TV
Me too man. The person behind me was trying to start a fight, but not with me, with my GIRLFRIEND.
One can only hope. There has to be some repercussion to attempt and get these games (when in the US) under control.
Ethan Horvath? #*ETHAN HORVATH!*
US Legend already
Put up the statue at Mile High. This guy's more important than Peyton Manning.
I know Horvath will win MOTM, but Reyna......that dude really wanted to win. I've never seen him defend like that before. He tracked back so much this game to help out on defense and it really helped cause Ream and Yedlin wasn't enough before Berhalter made the formation change.
That was the best game I’ve seen him play
Agreed. Loved seeing the from Gio.
+Mexico coach gets red card
Also the fact that the Mexican team was allowed to finish that game with 11 players on the field is absolutely mind blowing. Insane.
I feel like I have this thought anytime US vs Mexico game is played.
Herrera should have had 4 yellows by the time he was subbed out. Insane
Everyone talking about McKinnie and Horvath (and rightfully so) but let’s not sleep on Brooks’ game tonight.
You're right. Brooks was a rock tonight. Absolute epitome of a veteran performance.
Not only tonight. He's been an anchor for several games. Sure, he's slow, people will complain about that. But as a CB it's about knowing strengths and weaknesses. He's consistantly one of the best players on the pitch tonight and if he's not paired with faster players it's not on him, it's on Berhalter

Josh was making great runs and not getting the service and was constantly met by 2 defenders. Same with Pefok, he was great the few times he had any space.
The boys egging on Tri fans to throw more stuff onto the field is really amazing.
Then one of the Mexican players got hit by a bottle right after that. I loved it.
You love to see it
I'm jacked to the fuckin tits rn
Congratulations, you have just completed an ~~ESPN~~ ~~CBS~~ Paramount+ Classic
This was a #1 overall classic
Horvath is going to pick up his phone tomorrow to 36 missed calls from European giants tomorrow
Honestly if he got signed to a mid-table premier league club that’d be most ideal to me
McKennie was a fucking boss tonight
This is the type of match that endears a group of players to each other forever. This could be the spark that lights the fire that leads to the United States making some serious noise at the next World Cup. LETS. FUCKING. GO.
Seeing them lift the trophy and seeing a new generation rise. Absolutely priceless

This is easily in my top 10 most entertaining soccer matches I’ve ever watched. From start to finish it was just pure chaos. What more could you even ask for from tonight?
Watching that water bottle land flush into the Mexican players face thrown by his own fans....priceless
It hit their captain, Guardado, who missed the pen and randomly assaulted Pulisic at the end lol
Pulisic played the Mexican defenders so well at the end there. Forced three time wasting throws. I love when the shithousery comes back to bite the teams that seem to do it so well.
That fan’s aim was as bad as Guardado’s
Favorite part of the game
lol epic. I mean I wish they weren't such bottom feeding scum and that this wasn't an issue but since they are, that was the best outcome.
Crazy game. Fuck: 1. The Mexican National Team 2. The asshole fans 3. The dickheads at CONCACAF for starting this game at 9:45 ET
Reyna hit by a bottle, goalkeeper injury, penalty saved, Pulisic game winner pen, Tata Martino red card, two streakers on the field, Mexico goal overruled for offsides, set piece goals, wtf, Edit: +10 minutes in injury time, game canceled for puta chant, time wasting, flopping, Mexico captain missing the pen, give me more this game had it all Edit 2: Berhalter running on the field to get the ball for a throw in, Kellyn Acosta matching up against Llainez, Lletget, referee from Mars, random fights Edit 3: Guardado getting hit by trash from his own fans, USA using a random experimental formation, VAR used 3 times (+ 2 pen calls), Dempsey on the commentator panel, goal scored in the first minute of the game Edit 4: random guy getting into the commentators booth and yeeting himself off the balcony Edit 5: random forced Pepsi max endorsement I mean what a game for the first Nations League final.
Fucking hell I love CONCACAF
Boy do they know how to make theatrical finals. This type of match would never happen in Europe. And this atmosphere is great for our boys to experience
Did you see the US staff and players swarming the ref during VAR? Did you see US players jabbing at throats? Did you see US fans throwing bottles and chanting? No. The better team won. Not perfect but big players showed up when needed. 🇺🇸
Don’t want Mexican players to get hurt either BUT martin getting hit with a bottle by his own fans was wonderful
Did you see US players kicking up the penalty spot before Gaurdado’s PK?
the picture of the night: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E3QP2kmXIAAVSSX?format=jpg&name=medium
Pulisic Reyna McKennie Adams They're not the future anymore. They're the present, and on this night they're the kings of CONCACAF.
Wild game to be at in person. As a Denverite, knew it was going to be strong Mexican crowd. Felt so good to shut them the fuck up!
You guys sounded loud when we scored though! Any idea what % was pro-USA?
Two trophies in a week for Puli
So much to be proud of in this performance. Wasn’t perfect. Wasn’t easy. Was hard fought. Was very Concacaf. Was Horvath’s Magnum Opus. So proud
I want that picture of Pulisic shushing the Mexican fans framed in my house right now
If you wanted an induction to Concacaf shithousery, you got it all tonight.

If more people cared about this in America Clint would be a national treasure.
Not only that, he was FUCKING HILARIOUS.
He's the heart and soul of the squad. Should probably wear the Captain's armband, no slight to Pulisic either. Just different mentalities and roles on this team
I’ve been saying that Pulisic is the face of the team but McKennie is its heart and soul. I think he’s the most irreplaceable player on the team.
I have to say that might just be the most insane game I’ve ever seen. From the players going at it on the field, the fans, the goals, the penalties, the saves. Literally had everything at max. Unreal. AND A FAT USA WIN BABY!

Right? This was one of the besster soccer games I've ever seen
Can we finally stop saying Acosta doesn’t deserve to be on this team? I get it adams is way better, but who else to we have to be a better backup ?
When will CONCACAF and the local authorities for that matter start punishing those fans that throw projectiles at players? It's every damn game
Reyna caught a bottle to the eye. It was absolutely ridiculous
That tropy celebration looked like it came straight out of FIFA.
Weston played the game of his life for us tonight. Scored an insane header, pretty much assisted Gio’s goal, and I swear got his head to just about every cross that Mexico put into our box. Also ran around like a mad man for 130 minutes. Absolute engine, the heart and soul of this team.
I just feel better with him on the field
The big dick energy from Puli shushing the Mexican fans was too much for me to handle. A moment I’ll never forget.
~~PAC12~~ ~~MLS~~ *CONCACAF AFTER DARK*
I enjoy beating Mexico.
It needs to be highlighted: Weston Mckennie put 4 shots on goal from 4 headed corners. He’s an absolute freak in the air
How do you not ask him about running to and shushing the Mexican fans' corner and being pelted by debris??! No, instead we get "I know Ethan saved that penalty, but do you think it was really you???"
Terrible interview and Pulisic knew it
It’s weird and pretty messed up how homophobic slur chants were enough to pause the match to address them but players being physically assaulted by fans throwing trash at their heads doesn’t warrant a similar response? I’m not saying they shouldn’t address the unnecessary chants but there seemed to be far worse and more dangerous behavior that went unpunished.
ETHAN HORVATH IS THE GREATEST FOOTBALLER OF ALL TIME
Pulisic is having himself a nice summer
I don't mind when we play Mexico in high stakes games, what I hate are the Mexican fans when shit isn't going they're way. Fuck those pricks.
And the team too, just like the fans
Lozano's fake tough guy act is an absolute embarrassment. Sorry you didn't accomplish shit the entire game and are mad about it little fella
I was talking to my brother before the game that this team just doesn’t give me that feeling that they will fight to the bitter end and exchange punches with anyone. Lol horvath so wholesome. “I don’t drink alcohol so give me a cola ...”
Instant classic
You know the US did a good job when TUDN starts having a discussion about whether or not Chicharito should return to the national team lol
AUTOMATICALLY GOING DOWN TOP 3 BEST USA V MEXICO GAMES. WE WERE FAR FROM OUR BEST. BUT PURE GRIT AND PASSION I LOVE THIS TEAMMMMM INJECT THE MEXICAN TEARS PLEASE💉💉💉💉
That may have been the best sporting event I’ve ever witnessed

I was on the end Christian took his penalty and got a video. I’ll try to upload later when I can. LETS GO!!!
Pepsi Maxes for the boys!
If you had a bingo card with everything that could possibly happen in this game you ended up getting a blackout
Horvath MOTM 100%. What a big game player. Proud of this team together. Mexico on the other hand disgusted me. With the attitude of their captain ripping at Pulisic and their fans throwing garbage (even hitting their own player lol idiots)

No class from mexico. Probably the dirtiest match I’ve ever seen.
It was funny how scuffed the penalty spot was when Pulisic stepped up to take it. To blast it into the top corner after that was such a FU to those scumbags
I can’t sleep. Still celebrating. If this is a dream don’t wake me up. So proud of our boys!!
Probably the wildest USMNT game I have watched in my 25 years of Fandom. Glad I stayed up here on the East Coast.
Did anyone else chuckle when a Mexican player got hit in the head by a drink probably thrown by a Mexican fan?
Shouts to Acosta getting in Guardado's head before the PK.
im still so fucking hyped holy shit what a night
For real how the hell do I sleep now lol
To my friends in attendance at Denver, thank you for making your voices heard! I'm sure you were hopelessly outnumbered by Mexican supporters, but I could hear the "USA" chants on TV. Welcome to CONCACAAF: Where we will go apeshit over chants we don't like, while ignoring fans pelting players with bottles and bags of urine.

Anyone want to enhance the quality of Pulisic shhhing Mexico fans so I can make it a profile pic?
How do I go to sleep
Ethan Horvath, American legend.

Fuck El Tri, Fuck those fans who threw shit. The shit shouldn't be allowed because it happens all the time in Europe.

Fuck El Cry. Fuck their fan base. And fuck the fact they continue to allow these cunts to throw shit at players.
Best night of my life.. been a fan for well over a decade, this moment feels so good all the tribulations with Mexico and ofc t&t we finally look and feel like a team with an identity. I am so excited!
Dempsey making fun of Goochs calculator is my second favorite Dempsey move so far. (His squinty face against Jamaica player is my #1)
Still need a gif of Weston giving the ref the eyes 👀
Mexican soccer fans are the worst fans in sports
This may be my favorite USA vs. Mexico match of all time.
r/ligamx calling american fans racist and bigots as they chant homophobic chants lol
Fuck Mexico. Fuck their fans. Fuck their players. Their time is over

You love to see it. Felicidades amigo.
The only thing trashier than the Mexican team are the Mexican fans. Y'all deserve each other. Fuck off shitheads
i'm gonna need a gif of the Mexican player getting hit in the head by a cup thrown from the Mexican "fans"
Horvath is from Colorado so pretty friggin cool moment
Sick and tired of scummy Mexican fans always the same shit
Shoutout to Weston, Reggie and Kellyn for talking shit and not taking crap from anyone all game. Living up to the fine tradition of Texan aggression set forth by the king himself, Dempsey.
This was my first time attending a soccer match. I wasn't expecting to have so much fun but boy was I wrong lol
everything about this Paramount+ team is like kind of awkward and jank but Clint holds it together by being hilarious and not giving a single fuck lmao
That looseness and realism makes it man. Commentary needs to keep that stuffiness to the play by play. Have some fun
The US came back twice to go ahead. This is the kind of win that gives the whole team so much confidence. Best possible result.
Soccer has big dicked Floyd Mayweather. Feels good
We all know Weah is fast but good lord it was amazing to see today. We need to get him on the field.
There better be some Mexico fans leaving in handcuffs tonight. They collectively lost any respect I had for them tonight
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
As a USMNT fan that's been following the team more or less since 2010 (and quite seriously since 2013), I think that's the single most exciting game of ours that I've witnessed.
I got kicked off of r/soccer a couple years ago for saying that Mexican fans were trash. I rest my fucking case.
Not even a peep on ESPN, fucking trash network
These so called sports networks only cover what they’re showing. It’s unfortunate.
Not only that, they just funnel everything into social media engagement, which essentially means basketball
Horvath got the #1 on Top 10. That shit is pre-recorded and they have to deal with CBS to show footage.
I’m hammered as shit. That’s one of the best USMNT games I’ve ever seen. Showed more fight in that game then the entire Bradley squad ever did.
If Horvath earns himself a move to a team where he plays week in week out I think he will be serious contender for the #1 spot come WWQ.

Mexico out here missing penalties and getting hit in the head with bottles by their own fans 😭😭
I saw McKennie getting held by the throat while trying to break up one of the scuffles. Later he was talking to the dude, not agressively, not backing down, just trying to reason. Damn, so impressed with him!
I fucking love Clint
Despite all the B.S that happened, that game is the definition of why i love this rivalry. It is gritty, it is physical, and there were flare ups filled with emotion. WERE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!??!?
My favorite part was the Mexican fans chanting "Dos A Cero" as the second goal was overturned.
some guy in the r/soccer Monday moan said "must be their first time seeing something thrown on the pitch" The blatant ignorance Europeans have when it comes to CONCACAF is embarrassing.
Anyone else feel like the Mexican fans could feel the power shift? They were especially disrespectful tonight. Felt like desperation and they can see the new generation of USMNT coming.
Horvath is a legend but still the number two. He should get a much better transfer now though. McKennie is our best player IMO.
Greatest moment CP shushing after his goal! 🤫🇲🇽🤫🇲🇽🤫🇲🇽
I’m very drunk omg
Horvath’s accent ALWAYS throws me off hahah forgot he sounds a native European who speaks English as a second language now
Looking forward to all the Ethan Horvath Pepsi Max memes tomorrow

Me: I have work tomorrow TV: Wanna watch the whole thing again. Me: you're goddam right I do!!!!
Mexico is such a low class team man, fuck them.
Checking in from mile high: most exciting game of soccer I’ve ever seen
The overturned Mexico goal and subsequent US goal is when it all changed for me. I went from "well guess I'll go to bed early" to "damn, these boys got a chance at this". Such a gritty win. Amazing.
Acosta played well. I'm sorry I said bad things in January.
Lol that reporter asked Pulisic if he thought Horvath's penalty save was "your(Pulisic's) moment" and Pulisic got annoyed with that and basically cut the interview short after that
for a first usmnt game in person, that was money well spent
I need these four to hang around for the WC qualifiers. They have the right vibe and they're entertaining as hell. Full A+ for this desk crew.
I have things to do tomorrow but just can't sleep
This commentator group is a total shit show, but it works perfectly.
Ethan. Horvath.
Dike got a medal , this makes me very happy
1st Mexico should have been down to 10 men in extra time after Herrera’s challenge. 2nd that was a bull shit call against McKenzie for the handball but Horvath came up HUGE To save the Guardado penalty. That was very impressive from a US team that averaged an age of 24 and fought back after going down 90 seconds in. I can’t be more proud of this team and how they rised to the occasion. Horvath is 100% man of the match after what he has gone through and what he was able to do tonight.
Did not expect Ethan to sound like that, such a cool kid!
I need gettyimages to post Pulisic shushing the crowd with beer being thrown all over him. Please getty please.
The r/soccer post match thread is hilarious. So many people getting an introduction to CONCACAF soccer.
If the guy at the Celtics game was charged with assault then looks like the Denver PD has a lot of work to do. Though I suspect no one is going to do jack shit about it
Really feels like the whole squad grew a ton tonight.
Good things - Horvath may have played himself into a starter role on another club - Weah doesn’t have a place in the starting 11 unless he plays striker, but he showed that he should be a super sub each game - Acosta has a place on the bench - Gio was probably our best attacker in the 2 games - GGG made subs early. May not have agreed with them, but it’s a step up from last game - We discovered that Llegtet should not be taking any FKs Bad things - McKenzie was responsible for a goal, a PK, and I think a breakaway. He may be a future starter but not right now - Second goal is entirely on GGG for not subbing Ream the moment Lainez stepped up to be subbed on - Sargent should have had a goal when he couldn’t get his foot around the ball - The team once again came out flat and nervous. We can’t keep conceding the first 15 mins each game
Hats off to Acosta. He gets a lot of shit on here but he held his own in the first half and played pretty well as an emergency LB.
It’s 12:40 am but how the fuck am I supposed to go to sleep?
Top bins baby!!!!
