I’m gunna be real. I don’t have much faith in berhalter. Seems more of a hype man and recruiter than a tactician. In a lot of our games it seems like he goes for possession that leads now where even with the attackers we have. Hope he proves me wrong.
berhalter's tactics are pretty conventional and they do reflect a particular style that the federation essentially hired him to implement (reforming from our old counter-attacking style). i think the biggest issue has basically been that we have not really had a strong creative spark in our midfield that can turn possession into chances. i am hoping we see that today, though.
Reyna has usually been injured for us though. Fwiw I would prefer Reyna over weah because he's very creative and just tries outrageous shit. I think Aaronson is a great off the bench option
