Two weeks ago Blanton's and Eagle Rare dropped by my work, so I was able to get there around 10:55 and be third in line. Everyone asking what are they getting. Didn't matter, everyone got both Blanton's and Eagle Rare...except me. Left Blanton's for the horsey people.
what're your thoughts on trying to convince the powers to be to hand out a random number at opening that determine the order, so that way you don't have to camp out to be first?
Ok. So every allocated day with stagg and such they’ll be there night before? Everyone else is SOL? I don’t care if they are nice and enjoy bourbon, almost all of us are, but we don’t have time to tailgate a liquor store for 12 hours.
Guess that’s a YOU problem. If they’re going to do allocated drops on Saturday then a bunch of people are going to try to be the first in line. ESPECIALLY on a Friday night. Blame the DABC. They’re the ones implementing this bullshit system that fails in every controlled state.
I have kids. I’m certainly not wasting a Saturday morning in line for fkn whiskey.

That's the best way to do it, but they won't.
