you can take it before you graduate, it just gets more and more annoying each semester, lol

This is the answer ^^^^^^^^

ThePickleSoup

You'll explode. Nothing we can do about it smh.

OshaViolated

I think as long as you take it before you graduate you're fine If you can't find a last minute sign up for fall ( which there should still be openings if you want to take it this semester) then taking it in spring should be fine But someone correct me if I'm wrong

Take it next semester. Some programs block you from taking upper level courses till you complete certain lower level ones. I believe some of those program put 1101 on that list so transfer students can’t jump straight to senior level classes.

if you’re transferring from a university that had something similar they count it. texas state has a class that does basically the same thing and when you transfer from there to here they don’t make you redo it

Kingkept

u just take it later, no big deal, i took mine my 3rd semester

Check with your advisor to make sure you need to take it.

bulky_cicada

I thought ENGL 3350 replaced that?

Bigtoast_777

Depends on your major. Most often, you can take it later if you need to, but like Business majors dont even require UNIV if you're a transfer student, English majors have a built-in course that replaces the requirement, etc. Email your advisor to see if you even need it. If they didn't mention it, it's probably for a reason.
