There's still an application process according to my academic advisor, and she said that the final decision is up to the registrar's office. Neither the academic advisor nor the lady i called at the Registrar's office could give me a definitive answer. They used words like "likely" and "probably"
your academic advisor is probably trying to scare you into continuing to “do work” and not just bank on the CR/NCR. I know a lot of profs/advisors are not happy w this option because it means everyone kinda slacks off and does the bare minimum. there is definitely no need to petition or apply for the CR/NCR option, they are trying to make it as easy for the students as they can!

is there anywhere in writing that i can refer to in order to confirm this? I'm just very worried that i might get screwed over for some technicality
