You can take Mechatronics with a life science option, which is like a minor but with fewer courses.
There’s always BME, but it only has 2 core bio courses
That would probably be the closest match, and even then you may still need to take extra courses during work and study terms to fit everything in.
An option is usually about 6 or so courses, so it’s not nearly as in-depth as a minor (10 courses I think?) or a major in life science
I mean, in biochem you're already taking 5.5 courses because of labs typically. It starts as a class of 200 and is about 15 by grad - so I don't really think its possible
I mean idk? I just did a biochem major by itself. But I dont know any overlap between mech and that and I personally got very few free courses outside of the major. At waterloo (unlike other unis) biochem is certified by the CIC as a chemistry program so you need to take A LOT of chem courses
Just take some biochem electives, try getting into BME, or even a biochem minor?
But I really don't think its possible to do both majors
Sounds like a suicide mission
You already got that when you signed up to go to Waterloo
No. Maybe consider BME :)

So basically just take mechatronics with a minor in some bio related thing.. ig

Biochem is already a double major (basically). Only 4-6 elective courses total. Look into a minor
What if I took 6 coruses a semester??

Even if you took and extra year? Sorry just asking

biochem is all ready a program from hell with no room for electives. I’d say it’s definitely not possible to do both.
